Abstract. The article discusses the importance of the impact of Russian folk tales in the development of language areas of children with disabilities. Provides a practical material for conducting of design activities using Russian folk tales.

TO THE ISSUE OF PRODUCTIVE USE OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF AID YOUNGER STUDENTS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING THE SKILL
OF CONSTRUCTING SENTENCES
Abstract. The article deals with theoretical substantiation of the problem of speech development of Junior schoolchildren with mental retardation. Also the experimental study with the goal of improving efforts to assist teachers of primary education in learning the skill of constructing sentences by children with mental retardation. The work can be useful to teachers in primary schools, professionals working with children with mental retardation, students of pedagogical universities.
Key words: Mental retardation, primary school age, education standards students with disabilities, speech development, types of assistance, educational components – “academic” component and the “life competence”.
