1.What are the problems in the relationship of Oliver and Carmen Darrow ?

There are a lot of problems in the relationship between Oliver and Carmen Darrow.

Oliver thinks , that they have a lot incommon : same tastes in books and music , same sense of humour . But Carman says , that her father is like a stranger for her . And he doesn't like animals , when his daughter is a veterinary assistant.

He has always wanted the best for her . He sent her to a good school , but Carmen hated it . She had no friends there . She left it because , as Oliver thinks , she wanted to become an actress . But that was a dream of her father . She tried it for a while , but she was miserable until she met her husband . He is a vet . Now she is doing what she always wanted to do – working with animals . As she says , her father wasn't very pleased with her marrige . He wanted her to marry a famous film star , but she didn't .

Carmen and her husband don't want to have children , but Oliver would like to have a grandson , because earlier he wanted to have a son , but he just had a daughter .

They are very different and because of this they have got a lot of problems in relationship .

2.What size is the perfect family ?

As i think a perfect family should contains more than one child . For example , as Rose says , when she was little , lots of her cousins lived not far away from her and they all played together ol the time . And she had a best friend , who lived next door and who was the same age as she , so she was a bit like a sister for Rose . But she moved away and Rose left alone . It is hard when to be alone and to deal with problems because of unsureness when you are a teenager . And aloso it is very hard hard to find a common language with people , especially with parents . And when you become older , you will have to take care of your parents – sometimes it is difficult when you are lonely in this job . It is nice to have a brother or sister .

As Louisa says , who has 2 brothers and 4 sisters , her relatives , rich cousins in the city , envied them . They had old bikes and old clothes , but they had a lot of freedom .

But big families often can not be able to have a holiday somewhere abroad . And also sometimes your parents pay not enough attention at you – someone will be pleased with it , but others will suffer from it .

But advantages overweighed disadvantages enormously . There is no doubt about that .
