Reasons Why People Travel Around the World

Traveling is an activity that can be enjoyed by just about anyone. Why wouldn't it be? It gets you away from your normal scenery to something totally new. Traveling can bring a new sense of life into a person and make it a very interesting life and give you a completely new view on the world. There are many people all over the world who have never really been outside of 100 miles from where they may live. Some people have never gone further than even 50 miles and there are people who have yet to go past 25 miles from where they were born. This is such a sad predicament considering on how much they are missing out. Even more so since right now it's summer. The season for when people go traveling to see the rest of the world to absorb the rich culture, vast history and meet interesting people rather than staying in front of the couch and watching the television for the next three months. There are many different places that a person can visit and still not have enough time in their lives to see and experience everything. However there are a few things that are a must see in this world if you are truly interested in traveling. Probably the number one location to have seen at least once in your lives is the Great Pyramid of Giza. This structure is the last existing of the Seven Wonders of the World. While you are down in Egypt it would also be a good idea to see the Saladin Citadel of Cairo and spend some time absorbing the culture while you are there. But Egypt isn't the only place with such wonderful places to see and explore. Spain, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Russia, and the rest of the world also has places to visit and people to meet. Two of the main reasons for why people want to go traveling are to absorb the culture and meet the people who live in such an interesting place. To them, what we may perceive as different and interesting might be completely normal to them while we are the ones who are different and interesting. Traveling around the world can give you a much better understanding of how the rest of the world is doing and give you a new perspective on how you can live your life. Many other hotspot locations that people visit are to see certain events and occasions that are breathtaking to watch such as the aurora borealis, the migrations of whales and many other events where amazing natural events take place. Traveling around the world for the scenery is also another reason why people travel. The beaches of Okinawa, the forests of the Amazon, the mountains of the Himalayas are places that can completely change a person's view on the world. Traveling is a very exciting activity that people of all ages can participate as well is something that you can do in solitude or with friends and family to enjoy.

Can you imagine what is life without traveling? Is it possible? Whatever your reason is, traveling is a part of people's life. We all travel. The reason behind that is up to you.

There are different reasons why people travels:.

1.) Most People Travel because they want to see their families and friends who live far away. Invitations from families and friends are seldom so you will decide to travel just to see them.

2.) People Travel because they want to see their soul mates. Some people believe that there is only one person for them and if they haven't had much luck searching in their area, they figured it out that even though there are millions of people around the world, they can still find it in other place.

3.) People travel to seek for work because they want to experience how to work from another place. We must admit that earning money is hard and some people decide to work abroad because they are looking for greener pasture. Other place pays bigger rates than their own place. We may also say that their expertise is not favorable in their own place. Unfortunately, they have to leave their families for awhile for a job opportunities abroad.

4.) People travel because they want to learn others cultures. They want to see the difference between their culture and other cultures. They want to learn others culture because for them traveling is fun while learning. One particular thing about the culture is the food. They want to know how food is prepared and how it is done. Obviously, we all love to eat.

5.) People travel because they are writers. They want to give the readers relevant article to their readers especially when they are making story in that particular place.

6.) People travel because they want to see all beautiful scenery of different countries. Others would want to take pictures because it serves as souvenirs.

7.) When opportunity arise, it is hard to decide whether to leave your family and open a business far away your place. Some businessmen would rather put up business in other place because they want gain and it is more profitable than staying in their place. Business is nothing without profit.

Traveling is not only for rich people. Whether you are poor or in the middle class, you can travel as long as it fits your budget. Some travel for their goals, some travel for fun and relaxation and some travel for experience.

Visiting other countries will give you a mind expanding experience...

More seriously, travel can be truly educational and perspective widening. We all live on this big planet; but, we don't all live together; and, we don't all think alike. We have many things in common; but, there also are stark differences. Just from the human perspective alone, visiting other places and experiencing how others go about their day to day lives can provide

• New lenses with which to see the same old human problems

• Exposure to different cultures

• Tastes of different  cuisines

• The opportunity to learn about another's history

• Glimpses of a different artistic tradition

• Natural wonders (not in all nations, of course)

• Future business opportunities; many businesspersons became very wealthy by trading goods found in one country to customers in another, or a form of arbitrage

You also asked for disadvantages. Some people discover they really don't enjoy traveling. International travel forces the traveller into new and changed surroundings.  Some people really do not like change. We all know individuals who are extremely flexible in the ways in which they engage with the world. And, we also know individuals who are extremely regimented and structured in their lives. They may secretly desire to experience the world; but, they may be very uncomfortable having to change their daily routines, if only for the duration of a short trip.  If you are one whose day must proceed just so and if you find yourself lacking in adventure when it comes to eating new foods or seeing new places, international travel may be an unpleasant experience. You may find yourself judging the people you see and constantly comparing what you experience to your comfortable ways back home. Having said this, even the most flexible US traveller will relish the taste of an authentic American hamburger or hot dog after being away for some time--even if these aren't his or her favorite foods.
