Conclusion

As mobile devices gain more and more integration into people’s lives, media consumption and expectations of playback quality will continue to grow. It is the responsibility of the encoding professional, along with the developer, to optimize content for the best possible viewing experience. It is the aim of this document to provide workable guidelines and best practices for achieving this goal on Android-powered devices. As these devices evolve this document will be updated and amended.
