Moscow is the seat of the Academy of Sciences. Russia’s largest university, over eighty scientificresearch institutions, academics of music and art are situated in Moscow. There is also the Russian State Library. It is one of the world’s major publishing centers.

About myself

My name is Denis. I am 23. I live in Moscow, its my native town. I have a small family, its my mother. My mother is engineer. Now, I live alone.

In 2000 I finish school and enter in Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. This year I graduate from the Mendeleev University the department of Technology of Electrochemical Productions. I have excellent diploma.

Now, I working as engineer at the chair of Technology of Electrochemical Productions.

This year I intend to take three exams: English, Philosophy and theoretical electrochemistry.

My thesis deals with the intensification and increase to efficiency of electroflotation process. Electroflotation technology is a method of clearing a wastewater from heavy metals, oil and organic substances.

My scientific supervisor is professor Kolesnikov.

I carry out my experimental work in modern laboratory number 370, is provided with gas, running water and ventilation hood for the escape of both harmful vapours and odours.

The aim of my research is

I began my work by reading literature on this subject both in russian and in english.

In my work I encounter many difficulties and my supervisor helps me to overcome them.

I hope to complete the my thesis in time.

My hobby is collect music . It is hard to say now, which style I like most. I have more than one thousand records in my home collection, and I’m have inernet-file-changing programm with a list of musical for exchange with people from different countries. The collaboration with other traders makes this list growing fast. I like and respect people who are trying to combine their composition talents with the power of electronic synthesizers.

Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia

In 1898 (eighteen ninety eight) Moscow Industrial School was founded. It was a new type of an educational institution at that time.

The Mendeleev Institute was founded in 1920 (nineteen twenty) on the basis of Moscow Industrial School. Since that time it has grown into a famous university.

There are 13 faculties and several colleges: Higher College of Chemical Engineering, International College of Composite Materials, Higher Chemical College and International Higher College of Information Computer Systems.

About eight thousand students, including foreign and one thousand postgraduates and trainees are studying at the Mendeleev University now. Its graduates are outstanding scientists, politicians, leaders of research centres and industrial enterprises, famous businessmen, showmen and bankers.

Fifty Members and Associate Members of the Russian Academy of Science and 115 professors work at the Mendeleev University. It is acknowledged as an international centre of chemistry and chemical technology.

Its main recent scientific developments are new environmentally safe chemical processes, composite and engineering materials based on polymers and silicates and materials applicable in various branches of edenceimd industry.
