1.Рersonal identification

My name is Roman. My surname is Grib. I am 18 years old. I am study at the Pollesky State University on the banking faculty. Everybody has a family. Somebody has a nuclear family, others have an extended family. I have one sister and two brother. My family consists of four members: my father, my mother, my sister and me. It is a nuclear family. We live in a comfortable flat in Pinsk. I am tall. My mother says that I am very pretty boy. We live in XXI century and I suppose it is very important to have a modern clothes. When I have some free time, I like play chess.

2.The changing state of the family.

To speak about the family is always pleasure, because it is one of the main things in our life. But at first I want to speak about marriage.

Marriage is a thing which only a rare person in his or her life avoids. Millions of people get married, because of the fun of family life. And it is fun it one takes a sense of humour. There is a lot of fun in falling in love someone and chasing prospective fiancée which means dating and going out with the candidate. All the relatives meanwhile have the fun of critizing your choice and giving advice. What fun it is to get all these things, whose names start with the wedding dress, rings, cars, flowers, etc. It is fun to return back home with the idea that the person you are married to is somewhat different from the one you know. But there is no time to think about it, because you are newly-weds and you expect baby. And now I can speak about types of American family.

There used two types families: the extended, the nuclear. The extended family most often included mother, father, children, and some other relatives, such as, grandparents. The nuclear family become more prevalent, this considered only parents and their children. Today each family has advantages and disadvantages, and very difficult say, what type family is more better.

3.English as a World language.

English did not exist as a language about two thousand years ago. Today it is a really world language spoken by more than 800 million people.

The history of English began many centuries ago. In that time the first settlements in Britain spoke ancient language which was established as a mother tongue of modern English. Then in XIX and XX centuries the role of English was increasing more and more. Now English is so popular that more than 50% of all mails and telephone calls in the world are in English. Also English is the language of technology, business and science. It is also a computer language. English is the official language of the UK,Great Britain,Nothern Ireland,USA,Australia,New Zealand. People who speak English are divided into three groups. The first group is native speakers. English is their native language. The other group consists of people who use English as a second language in the society. And last group is people who are educated English for using in for a work,or other scheres.

4.English in my future career.

Nowadays me can not imagine a higly qualified specialist without any knowledge of foreign language. Foreign languages are required in all scheres of our life. To be succesfull in any profession and to achieve greater progress, are need to get international experience. Knowing English can make communication easier. In my future career English help me to get interesting well-paid job, and live as I want. So why do I need foreign language for? The answer is rather simple. There are for about 6 millions of people on our planet and all of them speak on English, and If I want to understand their, because nowadays English as a world language.

5.My University life.

Today the role of universities in the system of higher education becomes determing as they give training in fundamental humanties and natural sciences. At the moment I am study at the Pollesky State University. He is up to date establishment formed in 2006 to train specialists for various fields of national economy. Six faculties provide training at the University:Banking Faculty, Economic Faculty, Healthy Way of life Faculty,Biotecnological Faculty,Retraining and Qulification Upgrading Faculty. I am study in the Banking Faculty. The University provides Master degree Courses. The toral number of students in full time and part time comprises 4500. The University supports relations with many domestic and foreign academic and financial institute. Our international partners are: University of Applied sciences Bundesbank,Anhalt University of Applience sciences, The academy of finance(Russia), St Petersburg State of University of Physical training(Russia), Banking University of the National Bank of Ukraine. Sport activities are also in high reputation. The university provides sports faculties and organizes sport competions.

6.Education in Great Britain.

The system of education in Great Britain is one of the oldest in the world. Some English school and universities are appeared 7-8 centuries ago. In Great Britain there are both state are independent institutions. Schools are generally divided into primary and secondary shools. The primary stage also includes pre-sснool institutions, meaning those for children who have not compulsory school yet. Children from 5 to 7 attend infant schools, from 7-11 juniour schools. In infant schools children leant to pain pictures, dress up, and write do simple addition and subtraction of numbers. In junior schools children follow a regular time-table. They learn arithmetic,reading,history, geography and so on. At the primary stage children are taught by one teacher nearly all the time, where as at the second stage they have different subject teachers. The secondary education starts for the English children at the age of eleven. There are four types of secondary schools in Great Britain: grammar scнооls, technical schools, secondary modern schools, and comprehensive schools. Children pass the eleven plus examination and according to the results enter different kinds of secondary schools. The education in the secondary schools last four or five years. When the pupils pass examinations they get certificate of secondary education. After that they may continue their education at colleges or universities. Nowadays there are 40 universities in Great Britain. The most famous of them are Oxford and Cambridge. The Oxford,Cambridge Universities consists of 36(31) colleges and each of them has its own name. The students study at various colleges and live in them.
