1. Scientifically methodical ground of theme.

The modern rhythm of life of society, technical progress, modernization of production, predetermine permanent growth of traumatism, which requires from a doctor-stomatology freely oriented in the questions of diagnostics of trauma of maxillofacial area of peace-time, perfect domain of grant of the first aid methods at the trauma of face and subsequent treatment of such victims.

Damages of teeth, alveolar process in practical activity of surgeon-stomatology observed often enough. Differential diagnostics of these states between itself and by other traumatic damages sometimes shows by itself knowledge of clinical and X-ray picture of such damages.

One of important problems of modern maxillofacial surgery is clinic, diagnostics, treatment and prophylaxis of damages of maxillofacial area, particular, fractures of lower jaw of peace-time, that make a most percent among all of damages of face and neck of peace-time. It is related to the considerable increase of frequency of road adventures, domestic traumas, use of different types of plain weapon and growth of street criminality and tension in society. The study of this theme will allow a future doctor to be expressly oriented in the questions of clinic, diagnostics, methods of grant of the first aid for victims with the trauma of lower jaw, that in subsequent practice will allow to avoid numerous complications above all things of related to the maloperations of doctor on the first stages of grant of help (late diagnostics, wrong and incomplete first aid and others like that).

To explain the features of statistical indexes of traumatic damages of different areas of face.

To offer the plan of inspection of victim with the trauma of maxillofacial area.

To classify the traumatic damages of maxillofacial area.

To interpret principles of diagnostics of traumatic damages of maxillofacial area.

To draw the graphology chart of theme.

To analyze the results of laboratory and instrumental inspections.

To make the algorithm of actions of doctor during the clinical inspection of patient with damages of maxillofacial area.

To analyze the results of clinical inspections of patients with dislocations and fractures of teeth and alveolar process.

3. Aims of development of personality of future specialist, actual aspects.

Introduction of student to the clinic of hospital surgical stomatology and maxillofacial surgery requires knowledges of ethics conduct and features of the deontology to patients with the traumatic damages of hard and soft tissues of maxillofacial area, ability to use modern classifications, methods of inspection and differential diagnostics, facilities of temporal and permanent immobilization for the grant of complete, safe medical help.
