ПЛАН-КОНСПЕКТ УРОКА ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ №2

Дата: 13.11;

Целевая аудитория: 7 класс;

Тип урока: комбинированный;

Тема: Покупки;

Подтема: Покупки продовольственных товаров.

В супермаркете;

Грамматический материал: словообразование с помощью суффиксов;

Цель:

  • активизация лексике по теме;

  • расширение кругозора, творческих способностей учащихся;

  • формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;

  • воспитание коммуникативной компетенции учащихся, т.е. приспосабливаться к жизненным ситуациям (найти выход из любой жизненной ситуации).

Оборудование: учебник, тематические картины «В продовольственном магазине», «Супермаркет», схема «Правила словообразования с помощью суффиксов », рифмовка “Grandma’s going to the Grocery Store”, Containers, упражнение “Matching” меры веса, схема британской и американской денежных систем.

Содержание работы

I.Организационный момент

1)Приветствие.

Now children the bell has already gone stand straight! Good morning dear children! Sit down, please. I am glad to see you. How are you?

2)Сообщение цели, темы и задач;

-The topic of today’s lesson is “At the food shop” or “At the supermarket”. By the end of the lesson you should be able to actively use the knowledge of the vocabulary studied on the topic in natural situation. You’ll get acquainted with the British and American units of measurement and the monetary system.

3)Введение в иноязычную атмосферу

- We have a game “Word-Chain”. To revise the words introduced at the previous lesson let’s play the game. Take turns to say the words corresponding to the suggested topic: every other word should begin with the last letter of the previous word, e.g. shop-price-expensive-egg-grocery, etc.

4)Фонетическая зарядка;

-In order to improve your pronunciation and to be able to speak with proper intonation when shopping abroad let’s learn a new chant “Grandma’s going to the Grocery Store” (“ Store” is an American “shop”)

“Grandma’s going to the Grocery Store”

One, two, three, four.

Who’s going?

Grandma’s going.

Where’s she going?

To the grocery store.

One, two, three, four.

When’s she going?

At a quarter past four.

One, two, three, four.

What’s she going to buy at the grocery store?

One, two, three, four.

A loaf of bread,

A bottle of milk,

A big bag of cookies

And a little of peas.

II. Основная часть 1)Активизация навыков говорения;

Ответы на вопросы по теме:

- How often do you your parents go to the shops?

-To what shops do you usually go: local food shops, big shopping centres, supermarkets or markets and why?

-Do you like choosing presents for your friends and relatives? What presents on Christmas do you usually buy and where?

-Have you got any pocket money? What do you spend it on?

-If you had much money what would you do with it? Why?

-What is the word "shopping" associated with for you?

2) Введение нового материала;

Ознакомление с видами упаковок продуктов, с мерами весов, английской и американской денежными системами.

- There are some other ways of keeping and selling food in Great Britain and at the USA.

-Comment the pictures:

-I’d like to add that if you’re going to buy chocolate, you’ll ask for a bar of chocolate. If you want to buy eggs, ask for a dozen of eggs. If you want to buy grapes, ask for a bunch of grapes.

3) Работа с учебником;

And now read, match, translate and then write down in your vocabulary.

Match up two lists of things you may want to buy:

-To feel well and confident at a British or American shop buying food you should be acquainted with units of weight measurement:

1 ton is 2000 pounds ( фунтов) or 970 kg

1 pound (IB.) is 16 ounce ( унций)

2.2 pounds are equal to 1kilogram

1 pound is about 450 grams

1 ounce is 28.350 grams

-Knowledge of the Monetary System is just as important. In Britain they have such coins:

new half penny (1/2 p.)

one new penny (1 p.)

two new pence (2 p.)

five new pence (5 p.)

ten new pence (10 p.)

fifty new pence (50 p.)

British notes are:

5 pounds( £5), £10, £20, £50

1 pound consists of 100 new pence.

-American monetary system is similar to the British one.

1 dollar consists of 100 cents. Yhe Americans have coins:

a cent (1c) – They call it penny;

five cents (5c) – a nickel;

ten cents (10c) – a dime;

twenty-five (25c) – a quarter;

half a dollar (50c) – a half dollar.

The American notes are:

1$ (dollar), $5, $10, $20, $50, $100.

6) Отработка диалогической речи и работы в парах;

Divide Class into 2 groups: Shop-assistants and Customers.

-Read the dialogues of ex.17 on p.57, and then make up your own dialogues substituting suggested food products for something else you would like to buy at the British shops.

5) Совершенствование навыков чтения;

1) Pre-reading questions.

-Are there supermarkets in your place?

-What do you usually buy in a supermarket?

-What did you like in a supermarket?

2) While-reading activity.

-Before reading look through the questions below and, while reading, try to answer to these questions.

Read the text.

3) Post-reading activity a focus on speaking.

Where do you think it is better to do shopping: in a small shop or in a supermarket? What are the advantages of a supermarket?

7)Проверка домашнего задания;

1) Word-building.

-Do ex.19, 20 on p.58-59.

First, study the table, compare it with the scheme. Then, read the words given in the ex.20, translate them, paying attention to the suffixes.

8) Повторение ранее изученного грамматического материала;

Составление новых слов.

-Make at least one new word with each base word using a suffix. The books are closed.

Make new words:

1)Домашнее задание

Your hometask will be to translate the suggested sentences into English, then make substitutions in each sentence. Thus, you’ll get not 10, but 20 sentence.

Be ready to discuss the first part of the story Task 6 on p.116.

-Where can you use the knowledge’s you’ve got at the lesson?

-Why do you think it is important to remember the material studied?
