Грамматика Continuous Tenses
Группа времен Continuous употребляется для выражения незаконченного действия, происходящего в определенный момент в настоящем, прошедшем и будущем.

The Present Continuous Tense (настоящее длительное время)

обозначает действие, происходящее в момент времени либо будущее действие, когда оно запланировано ранее.
Наречия: now, at present, at the moment.
Глаголы, которые не употребляются в длительных временах:
- to see, to hear;
- to know, to believe, to think, to doubt, to feel ( в значении мнения);
- to mean, to realize, to remember, to suppose, to recognize, to understand;
- to want, to wish;
- to love, to like, to dislike, to hate, to prefer;
- to be, to have, to contain, to depend, to belong, to consist of, to own, to appear, to seem, to need;
- to please, to impress, to satisfy, to surprise, to astonish.

The Past Continuous tense (прошедшее длительное время)

обозначает длительное действие, которое происходило в данный момент в прошлом, либо в определенный момент или отрезок времен в прошлом.
Наречия: at 5 o’clock yesterday, from 5 to 6 yesterday, for 3 days last week, during, all day long/the whole day, when we came.

The Future Continuous Tense (будущее длительное время)

обозначает длительное действие, которое будет происходить в данный момент в будущем, либо в определенный момент или отрезок времени в будущем.
