WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD!

Our Universe is a fantastic place indeed! In ancient times, people thought the Earth was the center of the Universe. Now everyone knows that the Earth goes around the Sun.

The Sun is the source of life on our planet. It gives us almost everything we need. It gives light and heat. However the Sun doesn’t only bring life, it makes people’s life more enjoyable. We enjoy watching the Sun when it rises in the east and sets in the west. It is really a breathtaking view!

Although our planet is a very small part of the Universe it is full of wonders. It has 6 continents surrounded by big oceans. The oceans exist because hundreds of rivers flow into them. The longest river in the world is the Nile River, which flows for more than 4,000 miles in Africa. The largest river in the world is the Amazon River in South America. It carries more water than any other river and flows into theAtlantic Ocean!

So the world we live in is really amazing. And it never stays the same because it keeps changing all the time!
