I would like very much to do this favour for you but, unfortunately, this book is not available at the present time. Perhaps it would be advisable to address Dr. Ivanov. He may have this book.

Dear Prof. Jennings,
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to you for extending to me an invitation to spend a few weeks in your laboratory towards the end of 2010. I accept your invitation with great pleasure. I believe I will be able to visit your laboratory towards the end of this year, starting December 1st. If that date suits you, kindly send an official letter to our institute.
In response to your request I have sent to the Journal “…” a paper entitled “…”.
Since we are interested in the problem of …, we would appreciate it if you could supply us with information in the area.
I am happy to inform you that preparation is under way for the organization of an International Symposium on … to be held in Nizhni Novgorod, October 20 – 26, 2010. If you find it possible to take part in the work of the Symposium, please inform us the title of your paper.
By the way, Dr. Novinsky is visiting Oxford in July. He asks if you can arrange for him a series of lectures at your laboratory. Please give your best attention to this request.
