Present Perfect
1.Образование
Настоящее совершённое время (Present Perfect) образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to have в Present Simple (have/has) и смыслового глагола в форме причастия прошедшего времени (третьей формы глагола).
I have done the exercises already.
Our guests have just arrived.
a) - Have you done the exercises yet?
- No, I haven't done them yet.
b) - Have your guests arrived?
- No, they haven't arrived yet.
c) - Has Jack made the report?
- No, he hasn't made it yet. He is still working at it.
2.1 Present Perfect
Julia has bought a new phone today. Let's try it.
You can't meet Mr.Joneson. He has left already.
Present Perfect употребляется со следующими наречиями: ever, just, already, before, never, not ... yet, lately, of late, so far, recently.
recently в значении not long ago (не так давно) употребляется с глаголами в Past Simple.
I started painting only recently.
recently в значении for a short period of time before the present moment (за последнее время) употребляется с глаголом в Present Perfect.
We haven't seen each other recently.
She has found much interesting information recently.
2.2 Present Perfect употребляется с обстоятельствами времени, которые обозначают незаконченный период времени: today, this morning, this week, this year, this month, etc.
The students have done three laboratory works this week.
Past Simple.
Did you listen to the news this morning?
She hasn't time to buy newspapers today.
2.3 Present Perfect не употребляется в вопросах, начинающихся со слов when и how. Past Simple.
When did you meet your future wife?
How did the accident happen?
(Progressive): to be, to have, to see, to hear, to know, to understand, to like, to love, to hate, to want, to believe, to remember, to own, to possess.
We have known each other since our childhood.
They have had business for 5 years.
Past Simple.
I studied economics for five years when I was a student.
