1. Describe a popular festival or celebration

I want to tell you about a very kind and happy celebration. One of our favourite holidays is New Year’s Day. New Year’s Day is always connected with our new hopes and dreams. It’s pleasant to get presents and give their on New Year’s Eve. I usually get many nice useful and useless things from my parent, relatives and friends. I like to prepare presents for them too. Everyone hopes that next year will be better than the last one. It’s a tradition to celebrate New Year’s Day on the night from the December 31^st to 1^st of January. Each family tries to prepare for this holiday beforehand but usually most of people buy everything for celebration at the last moment. For example, my father bought and brought home a beautiful New Year’s tree the last day of December. I like to decorate New Year’s tree with toys, beautiful, picturesque glass balls, coloured lights, sweets and a big star on the top. My mother prepares our holidays supper and lays the table. Traditional New Year’s food is olivie and other different salads, tangerines and of course champagne. We like to celebrate the New Year at home with our relatives. They usually come at 11 o’clock in the evening. At a quarter to 12 o’clock we turning on the TV and waiting the congratulations from the president of our country. When he finishes all programs begin to translate the main clock in the country. Then we stand from the table and begin to count by voice. After the last striking of a clock all dream the wish and congratulate each other. I like this happy and merry holiday.

2. Describe your typical morning

I want to tell you about my typical morning. First of all I want to say that I’m not a morning person but I usually wake up easily and without anybody help. I’ll wake up only when listen the melody on my phone. But at last time I became to wake up by myself when the sunrises came into the room. It’s a great pleasure to awake earlier then the alarm and to feel that you had a rest. Cause I’m a student of a daily form of studying, I have to be an early-riser. I usually get up at 8 o’clock and go to the bathroom. I wash my face and clean my teeth, and then I put on my clothes and go to the institute. It takes me 20 minutes to get. But sometimes I oversleep. Of course it’s bad but it’s happen really seldom. I have a lie-in on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays cause of my time-table. You know, it’s a great pleasure to sleep at morning and know that you don’t need to wake up. As I’m not a morning person the best ideas I have in the evenings. It’s easier for me to do my homework at the evenings. In conclusion I want to say that an ideal morning in my opinion it’s when you don’t need to wake up and somebody give you a cup of coffee into the bed.

3. Speak about your name

I’d like to start by talking about my name. I think that it’s rather simple and very widespread but all the same I like it. I think it’s bright sonorous. On the other hand I sometimes envy people with exotic or rare names. They differ from other people with the identical names and often don’t meet person with the same name. I listened about esoteric science onomastics. It learns the names, there origin, history and helps to characterize person by his name. My name means “belong to Demedra” (Demetra is a Greek goodness of fertility). It’s a Greek name. Does my name go with my personality? I don’t know. If I compare my character that I really have with that about what I have read I can disagree. That’s why I don’t believe characteristics from the same books. I think that same texts were made with helping of psychology. My parents have given me this name cause for them it’s beautiful. I think it’s very hard to choose name right. In conclusion I want to say that for parent maybe right to read special books where they can find a great amount of names, beautiful and sometimes unknown for them.
