About Myself.
Good morning, dear teacher. Let me introduce myself. My name is Anton and my surname is Zaharov. I was born on the 4th of March in Moscow in 1990, so I’m 19 years old. Now live in Reutov, a small town in the Moscow region, and I am a first-year student at the Moscow Power-Engineering Institute (Technical University). In five years I’ll be a programmer.
Now let me describe my appearance. I am tall and have dark hair and grey eyes. My friends say that I am good-looking. I love sports and programming. I was very serious about a career in programming when I was studying in the Lyceum 1502. So I am sure it will help me to become a good programmer. I love sports, especially I good at power lifting and kickboxing. I attend kickboxing trainings two times a week at stadium in my native town in Reutov. Sometimes, when I have a free time, I play computer games or watch TV, I prefer comedies and thrillers. I don’t like reading, so I haven’t a favourite author. I have many friends and I like to go for a walk with my friend. Also I like to walk on bicycles with my friends.
I would like to tell you about my family. There are eighteen people in our family. My father’s name is Grigoriy Sergeevich. He is a militiaman by profession. My mother’s name is Tatyana Vitalevna. She is a housewife. She has much work about the house because I have six younger sisters and five younger brothers. My brothers Vladimir, Alexander, Vadim, Vanya, Vitaliy and Dmitriy are students. My eldest sister Ann is a teacher of initial classes. Also we have two dogs, three cats and two decorative rats. Our family is very friendly.
As for my studying, three years ago I finished school No 3 in Reutov. Then I entered the lyceum 1502. Last year I have finished the lyceum. I did well in all the subjects but my favorite subjects were Mathematics and Programming. I also enjoyed English and Physical Training lessons. So the knowledge, I have got in the lyceum and at school, helped me to enter the Moscow Power-Engineering Institute (Technical University). I decided to enter this institute because the knowledge, I will get here, will help me to get a good and interesting job.
I have been learning English for about 7 years and I am very interested in learning it because I always wanted to become a programmer. Of course, learning foreign languages is not very easy, but I think that the knowledge of foreign languages helps in everyday life and career.
My Family.
Good morning, dear teacher. Let me tell you a few words about my family. My family is very large. I have got mother, father, seven brothers and eight sisters. There are eighteen of us in the family.
First of all, some words about my parents. My mother is a housewife. She is rather slim and pretty woman with fair hair. She is 50 years old, but she looks much younger. My father is militiaman. He is 45 years old. Two times he went to the Chechnya to get money for the family. My parents have been married for 25 years. They have much in common, but they have different views on music, books, and films. For example my father likes horror films and my mother likes soap operas. My father is fond of cars and fishing. My parents are hard working people. My mother keeps house and takes care of my father, my brothers and sisters and me. She is very good at cooking.
So I have many brothers and sisters, but we don’t all live together. My eldest brother Vadim rents a room in Reutov, he also studies in the Moscow Medical Institute. My eldest sister Ann has her own flat in Reutov and doesn’t live with us too. She is a teacher of initial classes at school No 3, that I have finished four years ago. So she was my first school teacher. My brother Vanya studies in naval school in St.-Petersburg and every summer he comes to us. All the other members of our family live together in a big flat in the center of Reutov. My youngest sisters Ann, Nata and Alesya and my youngest brother Alexander are pupils of the first class. As for my other sisters, Tanya, Vika, Nadya and Nastya, they go to school every day too. My brothers Vitalik, Dima and Alexander have finished their schools last year and entered institutes and technical schools. Dima perfectly draws (he has left art school) and he is going to become a designer. Vitalik and Alexander wish to become car mechanicals, they like to spend their time studying cars and my father often helps them. My brother Vladimir have finished a technical school this summer and now he is the cook by profession and he often helps our mother in the kitchen.
We also have two dogs, three cats and two decorative rats in our family. My brothers and sisters love our dogs and often play with them in the park.
Our family is very friendly. We love our parents and help them on the house: we clean our rooms, help mum to cook food, wash ware, walk with dogs, help small children to do their lessons, put them to bed in the evening and so on.
I love my family very much. We always help each other and everyone in my family is my best friend. Every one in our family is rather busy, but we always look forward to a possibility to spend some time together. My family means a lot to me.
