Rotating Domain

Use the Rotating Domains feature to set the rotational frequency and direction in The Single-Phase Flow, Rotating Machinery Interfaces. If there is more than one rotating domain, these must not intersect.

From the Selection list, choose the domains to define the rotating machinery.

R O T A T I N G D O M A I N

	Select the Rotation axis base point. The default is the origin (0, 0). Then
	select a Rotational frequency—Revolutions per time or Angular velocity.
	• If Revolutions per time is selected, enter a value or expression in the field
	(SI unit: 1/s) and select a Rotational direction—Clockwise (the default)
2D	or Counterclockwise.
	• If Angular velocity is selected, enter an Angular velocity w
	(SI unit: rad/s).
