Степени сравнения прилагательных degress of comparison
В английском языке различают три степени сравнения прилагательных:
положительная (умный)
сравнительная (умнее, чем)
превосходная (самый умный)
Все прилагательные английского языка делятся на две категории:
односложные, состоящие из одного или двух слогов, оканчивающихся на –y. (sad; long; happy)
многосложные, состоящие из более двух слогов (beautiful; interesting)
