About myself

Let me introduce myself. My name is ________. I am _______(years old). I am a first-year student of Tver State Technical University. I finished school (college) in 2007. I studied many subjects but my favourite ones were mathematics and physics. As I studied well I decided to continue my education at Technical University. I took entrance exams and was taken in the extra-mural department of the Institute of Additional Professional Education. Now I am in the first course. My chief subject is accounting and auditing / finance and credit.

The academic year begins in September and ends in July. There are two terms in the course of the academic year. So extra-mural students come to the University and take examinations twice a year in January and June. Between our examinations we read privately.

The University has a four-year course of study. The first year students study different subjects: higher mathematics, English, history,_________, _________, computer sciences and a number of other subjects. We are taught by highly qualified lecturers and professors. There are several computer classes, well-equipped laboratories, as well as reading and dining rooms at the University. In four years I shall graduate from the University with a Bachelor’s degree in ___________. I like to study so I hope to become a highly qualified specialist in a chosen field.
