At the end of academic term a teacher gives an average mark for in-class and self-study work of a student. Then students write a module test.
The module test is evaluated by means of a 4-point grading system. These marks are transformed into rating points in the following way:
The module test
“5” – 20 points;
“4” – 16 points;
“3” – 12 points;
“2” – 8 points;
Being absent from the module test – 0 points.
The total term rating of a student is comprised of:
an average mark for in-class and self-study work x10 +rating points for the MT
The students whose rating during the term comprises 63 - 70 points get a "5" (excellent) without taking any examination.
The final mark for the module is given as a sum of the term rating points and the examination points.
