Science of Economics

The science of economics is based upon the facts of our everyday lives. Economists study our everyday lives and the general life of our communities in order to understand the whole economic system of which we are part. They try to describe the facts of the economy in which we live, and to explain how it all works. The economist's methods should of course be strictly objective and scientific.

Wc need food, clothes and shelter. We probably would not go to work if we could satisfy these basic needs without working. But even when we have satisfied such basic needs, we may still want go to work if we could satisfy these basic needs without working. But even when we have satisfied such basic needs, we may still want other things. Our lives might be more enjoyable if we had such things as radios, books and toys for the children. Human beings certainly have a wide and very complex range of wants. The science of economics is concerned with all our material needs: it is concerned with the desire to have a radio as well as the basic necessity of having enough food to eat.

Traveling

We often get tired of the same surroundings and daily routine. Hence some relaxation is essential to restore our mental and physical resources. That is why the best place of relaxation is the one where you have never been before.

To be on the safe side and to spare yourself the trouble of standing long hours in the line you'd better book tickets in advance. All you have to do is to ring up the airport or the railway station booking office or book the tickets via Net and they will send your ticket to your place.

When you get to the station or airport for some time you stay in the waiting room. If you travel by train you find your carriage, enter the carriage and find your berth. It may be a lower berth, which is more convenient or an upper one.

You put your suitcase into a special box under the lower seat. In some time the train starts off. Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its advantages. You can see the country you are travelling through and enjoy the beautiful nature.

But if you are in a hurry and want to save your time you'd better travel by plane because it is the fastest way of travelling. After the procedure of registration you board the plane. You sit down in a comfortable armchair and in a few minutes you are already above the clouds.

Some people prefer to travel by ship when possible. A sea voyage is very enjoyable, indeed. Some people prefer to travel by car.

Ukrainian customs

The main task of Ukrainian Customs is the protection of the economic interests of the country, cultural and historical properties.

Articles, which are prohibited from being brought into many countries include illegal drugs and obscene weapons. Guns and other firearms normally need a special certificate. Fruits, vegetables, meat, plants are restricted in some countries to prevent the spread of diseases.

Customs inspectors may examine the luggage of all travellers entering or leaving the country. All articles acquired abroad must be declared that is why they must be identified and their value is to be given to an inspector. If a person fails to declare an article or understate its value, the article may be taken away and the individual may be fined. Most countries allow people to bring in goods up to a certain value. They also allow a specified quantity of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

Countries usually impose customs duties at a rate that depends on the value of the articles and their quantity. Some countries have joined together to form customs unions, whereby they do not charge duties on goods from each other's countries, and impose uniform duties on outside countries.

A first step in good job-search procedure is to build a network of contacts consisting of the friends and businesspeople whom you get to know and who may help you to find jobs,

  2. Present a good appearance through formal dress and grooming.

An interviewing is a form of personal communication, usually between two people, it is not a precise activity - that is why no strict rules exist. Rather, interviewing is a flexible activity that requires the good judgment of the people involved. Nevertheless, well-established guidelines exist, and you should follow them.

You are likely to write application letters and resumes in your efforts to find a job. You prepare them much like sales mailings. First, you study your product (you); then you study your prospect the employer. From the information you gain, you construct the resume and/or application letter.
