As to my mind friendship has magic power. It makes the world go round. It is always important for everyone to feel support, care and understanding. True friend is like a second half in romantic relationships. I always feel sorry to people who can’t make friends. I would like to tell you about my close friend Marina She is my class mate. We have been studying together in one form all the eleven years of our school life. We have nothing in common in appearance, but many common interests. We are both fond of table tennis, so we joined a local ping-pong club. We like to meet people with the same hobby as we have. We both like to take part in ping-pong competitions because they develop quick thinking, character and self control. I always meet Marina at the weekends to go to the cinema, cafes or concerts. We always enjoy the time we spent together. She is as good as gold. Kind, sincere and easygoing she is always ready to help other people. She is very elegant, she wears the clothes of latest fashion. Marina wants to become a journalist in future. I like her choice. I think it is very interesting and useful profession. As a real journalist, she fallows all mass media news. So she always has many interesting stories to tell. I am happy to have such friend as Marina. I am sure we will be friends forever.

Odessa

Let me tell you about my native city Odessa. It was founded in Odessa was founded in 1794 by Catherine the Great. Odessa is known as "the Pearl of Black Sea", j'Southem Palmira", "Odessa-Mama". It is the 3rd largest city in Ukraine and the largest city, along the Black sea. There are many squares, large parks, cinemas, theatres and shops in my city. I like all parts of a city in some way, but I like central part the most. It has many beautiful old buildings known for its architectural design. All the main places of interest are located here. Every year thousands of tourists come to Odessa. They always visit the Opera and Ballet theatre, Potemkinskaya stairs and Primorsky blvd., Sea Port and Catacombs. The main street of out town is Deribasovskaya. It is the best walking area.I endjoy going there with my friends to have a good time. We walk round the city center and then have ice cream in one of the cafes. My town becomes especially beautiful in early spring. This time I like to tramp down the Primorsky blvd, lined with trees in blossom. And breathe in the smell of fresh grass and flowers in the air. Those who like dancing and night life will enjoy Arcadia in summer period. It is famous for its open air discos and concert-halls located right on a sea shore. I like my native town and want it always to stay beautiful and clean. I am proud to be a native citizen. I was bom here, my parents live here and I want to live here all the rest of my life.

You have got a new flat. You meet your dose friend and tell him (her) about it.

Let me tell you about our new flat. My parents and I live in a new block of flats in Fontanskaya Street. I lice the location a lot as transport and shops are close. In front of the house there is a garden. We like to spend time there. Our flat is on the forth floor. Our flat has tree rooms, kitchen, bathroom and a small Hall. The three rooms are living room, bedroom and my stydy. All rooms are papered with wallpaper of a different colour. The floor was linoleum and carpeting in the flat. The curtains on the windows match the wallpapers. The living room is the largest and has a balcony. There is a sofa with two armchairs and a low table with a TV-set. On a right-hand side there are cupboard and a bookcase near it. The bedroom is smaller and not so light. It is my parents’ room. There are two dressing tables there, a bed and a wardrobe. The room I like the best is my study. I use my room as a study and bed room. It is nice and cozy. There isn’t much furniture there, so I have much space. I have a bed, a desk, a bookcase and an armchair. I like to sit in the armchair and read an interesting book. I like books and have plenty of them at home. There are some posters with my favorite singers on the wall. When my friends come to visit me I invite them into my room. Our flat has all modern conveniences, so I like it very much. We are all happy to have such a nice flat and try to keep it clean. There is no place like home. As the proverb says “East or West home is best”.

Speak about the best qualities of a teacher. Which of them do you have in your opinion?

Teacher’s profession is not as easy as it may seem at first. The choice of this profession doesn't have to come spontaneously. I think person who chooses this profession has to be ready to face different situations and devote himself fully. Teacher’s profession requires great responsibility. Being a teacher is not just teaching the subject you know. Teachers develop their pupils’ intellect, their views and Characters, their attitudes to life and to other people. It is not easy and it takes much patience and effort. As for teaching a subject, a teacher has to know how to make difficult thinks understandable, how to get students interested in subject. And of course teacher has to have perfect knowledge of a subject. Self-education is also very important. Pupils like to ask questions about many topics. It is important for them to know that their teacher knows everything not only about his subject, but also about what is going in the world or the country. Pupils think that a teacher is a person who can explain everything. As for me, I can prove I have all qualities to become a good teacher. I have a good personality and I love children a lot. I can be friendly and strict at the same time. It is very important to have complete influence on class. I am very hardworking and ready for self-education in future. I have made my choice a long time ago, and I am sure my dream will come true.
