Problem Solving Questions
This is the more basic type of question. Essentially, you are asked a question, and are required to calculate the answer and then select it from the list of 5 choices that you are presented with.
Example
Bob buys 40% of the total number of ice creams in the store and 25% of the number of chocolate bars. In total, Bob bought 12 items, and there were 20 ice creams when Bob entered the shop. How many chocolate bars were there?
A.10
B.17
C.28
D.52
E.71
Data Sufficiency Questions
A more complex type of question: the question is made up of some information and two statements. Your job is not to calculate the answer but to decide which of the following is true:
A.Statement 1 alone is enough to answer the question, and Statement 2 alone is not enough to answer the question.
B.Statement 2 alone is enough to answer the question, and Statement 1 alone is not enough to answer the question.
C.Both statements together are required to answer the question, and neither statement alone gives enough information to answer the question.
D.Each statement alone is enough to answer the question.
E.Both statements together do not give enough information to answer the question.
