9. Server Side Automation qa (db1882_Server Side Automation qa_bkf_tpm)

Short description of the project:

Project is in the Sales Data area of major investment bank dealing with complex data flows, multiple applications and data sources. Project seen as a strategic pilot in building new area of development of key account. Project core team to work tightly with client representatives from London and will have big extent of flexibility in defining optimal strategies and solutions for quality assurance. Project utilizes advanced test automation tools and frameworks such as GreenHat Tester. JIRA and Quality Center are used as a test management tools.

We are looking for people who are willing to learn and grow with the project and build a solid basis for project expansion

Responsibilities:

• The main responsibility is to prepare and execute server side testing of the reference data system, data warehouse (SQL, Oracle)

• Develop and maintain various project artifacts such as test plans, data validation test cases, data transformation rules, automation test scripts, test reports. Execute test cases and document test results

• Engage with bank's development team on early project stages to ensure testing process is properly detailed in the plan and handled with appropriate attention starting from Requirements Analysis phase and down to UAT phase. Catch up the testing activities in existing project, maintain and improve the QA services provided in the project. Work on mastering business domain knowledge to be able to ensure quality in-depth on functional/business logic level

• Contribute to project plans and project status documents and Unit testing/SIT reports. Manage and track QA issues for the team and coordinate issue resolution. Collaborate with London-based business representatives, Project Managers, BA's, Developers, Testers

Requirements:

• Relevant QA experience

• Testing automation experience (any tools and languages)

• SQL (good hand-on experience)

• XML

• Proactive attitude and willing to work in limited timeframes

• Bug tracking systems 2+

• Experience in Oracle and DWH is a big plus
