Creative understanding and application
Task 1. Find information about film festivals (look at Task 2, Level 1). Don`t forget to tell about the main award of a film festival (and show its picture). Present the information as if you are:
nominated at a film festival as the best actor / actress / director;
a correspondent doing a live broadcast;
an ardent viewer of a film festival;
a teacher who conducts a lesson devoted to the topic “Film Festivals”;
a juryman who judges the quality of films / actors` performances.
Task 2. Are you always content with the results of film festivals, their winners?
A. Think about your own film festival and give awards to either domestic or international actors, directors who really deserve them. Don`t forget to present your nominations and nominees (use adjectives from your topical vocabulary to describe nominations and nominees). Work in groups. Be creative.
