Практическая работа № 6

Creating Blue Button

  1. Open new file. Use the default size for this tutorial

  2. Zoom 100% to see work (press Ctrl+2)

  3. Click Oval tool (or press “o”)

Use this Oval drawing tool

  1. Set Fill color to Med Blue. Set Stroke to Med Blue line width of 0.25. Go to Color Mixer (Shift+F9) and set to Radial gradient.

5. With Oval tool create a circle on stage about 3/4 of viewing area.

6. Create a second circle on the side of stage Make it a bit smaller then the first. Select all so its all Highlighted and click the pull down menu Modify>Transform>Rotate 90' CW

7. While still highlighted, drag it over the first circle And drop dead center If you miss don't drag again but Redo so it looks like this or Close to the below:

8. Now Create a Third Circle on stage beside the main. Make it 1/2 of the size of the 2nd circle.

9. Select all, Modify>Transform>rotate 90' CW and again Rotate 90' CW. Drag to center of the other two

10. Now you have a static Button. It is static. Lets make it dynamic as this is flash. Select all on your button and hit Insert>Convert to Symbol (or Press F8) Name it “blueButton” with behavior of a Button. Hit ok.

11. Open Library by pressing Ctrl+L or press F11 and Double click symbol in library to View Button Time Line.

12. On the timeline highlight Down frame. Hit F6. Select all and Modify>Transform>rotate 90' CW and again 90' CW.

13. Now press (Ctrl+Enter) to view your animation.

Creating Fancy Text Effects

Part 7a: Morphing Text

* Launch "T7-morphing.swf " to have a preview of what can be accomplished from this tutorial.

1. In a movie, type the following text: “Morphing Text”

2. Press “v” and choose the correct font and size.

3. Now select Modify > Break Apart (or Ctrl+B) twice. This turns your text into shapes. You cannot edit the words after you have broken them apart.

4. Add 5 frames (press F5). Point to the sixth frame and press F6 to create another new keyframe.

5. Press F5 again to increase the second keyframe created in step 4 to 25th frame. Point to the 26th frame and press F6 to create the third keyframe as shown below:

6. In the 26th frame, delete the text shapes “Morphing Text” and type the text “Different”. This time, choose red color. Make sure that you have broken it apart before continuing. The morphing will NOT work with unbroken text boxes.

7. Point to the 15th frame. Now open up the “tweening” option for that keyframe.

8. Play the movie (Ctrl + Enter).

9. It may not work the way you wanted. If not - try changing the Blend. Select either Angular or Distributed in the tweening options box.

Part 7b: Creating a Fading Text Transition

  1. Click “T7b-sample.swf” to see the sample of the animation you are going to do.

  2. Create a new movie.

  3. Click insert>new symbol, name it "text1" and select “Movie clip” behaviour. Type the word “Hello” in this movie clip.

  1. Click insert>new symbol, name it “text2” and select “Movie Clip” behaviour. Type the word “How are you?” in this movie clip.

  1. Return to main stage, drag movie clip "text1" from your library and position it on your stage in frame 1 layer1.

  2. Highlight frame 25, right click and select INSERT KEYFRAME.

  3. Click and highlight the “text1” movie clip and open the property panels.

  4. Set the Colour Effects to alpha and set Select alpha to 0%.

  1. Highlight layer 1 frame 1 and on the FRAME panel, select tweening: motion.

  2. Lock Layer 1.

  1. Right click on layer 1 and select INSERT LAYER.

  2. Highlight Layer 2 Frame 15, Right Click and select insert keyframe.

  3. Highlight layer2, frame 15 and drag movie clip “Text2” from your library and position it overtop of text 1.

  4. Click on Frame 40 of layer two, right click and select INSERT KEYFRAME.

  5. Click on Layer 2 Frame 15 and similarly, set alpha = 0

  6. Open the FRAME control panel and set the tweening to motion.

  7. Lock layer 2.

18. Now press (Ctrl+Enter) to view your text animation.

Part 7c: Creating an Animated Text

* Click “T7c-sample.swf” to see the sample of the animation you are going to do.

  1. Create a new movie (from pull down menu Modify>Documents) and set it to 550 x 400 pixels.

  1. Set the Background to Black.

  2. Take your Text tool (or press “T”) in the tool bar, set at Times Roman, size 45, colour Dark Royal blue. Type on the stage "Designing Webs".

  1. With your select tool (press “v”), select the text.

  2. Center the text on the stage.

  3. Click Modify>Break Apart TWICE

  1. Select the Ink Bottle tool in the tool bar

  2. In the property panel, choose colour to a light Bright Blue, size of 2, solid line.

  1. Click the Ink Bottle on the outline of all the letter one by one.

  2. With your Select tool (press “v”), drag a box around the text to highlight it.

  3. Click Modify>Group (or Ctrl +G) to group the text.

  4. Click Insert>Convert to Symbol and select graphic.

  5. Click Edit > Copy

  6. Click Insert> Layer to create a new layer (This will be Layer 2)

  7. Click in Layer 2 Frame 1

  8. Click Edit> Paste in Place

  9. Right click in Layer 1 frame 10 and click add Key Frame.

  10. Left click in Layer1 frame 1

  11. In the Properties box select Motion Tween.

  12. Left click in layer 1 frame 10

  13. Click Windows> Transform change width and height percentages to 200%

  14. In the properties box change the Colour Alpha to 0

  15. Click in Layer 2 Frame 1

  16. Right click in Layer 2 frame 10 and click add Key Frame.

  17. Left click in Layer 2 frame 1

  18. In the Properties box, select Motion Tween.

  19. Left click in layer 1 frame 10

  20. Click Windows> Transform change width and height percentages to 50%

  21. In the properties box change the Colour Alpha to 50%

30. Now press (Ctrl+Enter) to view your text animation.

Part 7d: Create Movies inside Text

* To see the demo file, open “T7-inside-movie.swf”.

  1. Open the file “T7-inside-movie-test.fla”.

  1. Create a new layer named “masking”. It should be above your movie layers.

  1. Use the Text tool (or press “t”) to type the text “Ready” in the “masking” layer . Make it big.

  1. Point to the area near “masking” layer, right click, a menu will be popped up. Choose Mask from the menu. The movie now appears inside the letters.

  1. Play the movie (Ctrl + Enter).

6. Now press (Ctrl+Enter) to view your animation.
