That is My Idea of a Perfect Holiday

Holidays offer the perfect antidote for stressed-out lifestyles. In my opinion threre is a great number of differesnt ways of spening holidays. It is a great pleasure ot have a rest after a whole year of hard work ot study. In my opinion travelling is the best way of spending holiday time, also it’s a dood method to escape the daily grind or work and day to day pressure. So I prefer a package holiday. I was dreaming about visiting far south countries — such as Greece island or Spanish beaches. There are a lot of travel methods and I think by air is the most comfortable and quick one. I recommend book a seat on the plane be forehand. Of course It’s great if you can reserve a room at a five-star hotel, where you can find all accomodations facilities including provate car park, air condition and weekend entertainment.

The beach is a traditional summer destination for thousands of people and I’m not exeption. Things to do includes sunbathing or somplu lazing around on the beach. Here you can indulge in sports activities. For example you can enjoy scuba-diving and wind surfing.Spending holidays on the beach is a great rest, but I try to combine sunbathing with visiting different places of interest and attractions. After such holidays you’ll feel yourself refreshed and ready to work for the whole year.

Describe the Most Unsuccessful Holiday you Have Ever Had

Holidays is the bes way to get away from our usual soruces of stress. But sometimes holiday can be complete disaster as happened with me.

Every year my friend and I go somewhere to the South for holidays. My last summer vacations I spent in Sochi. It was just two years ago. First we thravelled to Sochi by plane. We arrived at the airport two hours ago the cath our plane, but the flight was delayed. That’s why we dind’t get to the destination untin 3 am and we were totally exhausted when we got threre. We stay at a t three-star hotel. My friend booked a room for five nights. It was $50 a night, wich includes breakfast and service charge. But we were a little dissapointed with the doom. It didn’t have a balcony and it look ot on to some rather ugly, noisy streets. Also the room was small and dirty. We complained about it to the manager and I insisted on having a different room and I even succeeded in getting on, but i was just the same! For me the perfect holiday it’s simplu lazing around on the beach. But our beach was so ugly and miles from the hotel. In the end I couldn’t wait to get back home.

National Stereotypes of the British and Americans

British. The most typical of British nation are: self-satisfaction, sense of superiority and insular pride. British patriotism is based on a deep sense of security. Englishmen as individuals may have ban insecure of themselves, or have pessimistic view of life, but as nation they have been for centuries secure, screne in their national successes. Brisith have sa strong sence for public order, they value individualism quite highly. It’s a common truth, that the British are very conservative and rather shy, the are very tolerant too. Nobody in Britain seems to mind very much how you dress or what you say.

Americans. They are totally materialistic. All Americans think about money and try to get it more and more. It’s fashionable to be rich and to won expensive things. To be poor is considered as a moral defeat. It’s the most popular national steretype. The second one is that Americans are unducated. They don’t read book, knowing of geographic is extremely poor and all their tv quiz programmes is based on TV shows. Overweight is a typical American problem. Fastfood is an only food they eat.

Of course, all the listed ideas are only stereotypes and we know that generalization about nationalistics are not welcomed.
