I.Организационный момент.

-Good morning children. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. How are you?

-Fine, thank you. And you?

Who can remind us the date, day? What is the weather like today?

-It’s sunny, but cold.

Thank you. I hope you are in a good mood, so let’s start our lesson. Today we’ll revise the material we’ve studied and summarize the knowledge on some topics: adjectives –traits of character and Present continuous tense.

II. Основная часть.

Warm up.

1). фонетическая зарядка.

-First let’s prepare our tongues for the lesson. Look at the blackboard, please. Repeat after me.

2). Лексическая зарядка.

-And now, will you look at these words. What part of speech are they?

-adjectives

- You can see some pictures on the right. Your task is match the words with the pictures and give their opposite meanings.

Athletic (non-athletic) (слова в скобках на доске не записываются)

Clever (stupid, silly)

Happy (sad)

Shy (sociable)

Talkative (quite)

Beautiful (ugly)

-So, when do we use such words?

-to describe people and things

- We like to receive compliments, let’s raise our mood and pay each other a compliment. Well, I think Tanya is kind.

-Thank you. I think Sasha is sociable. …

-Thank you. I hope you will try to be polite and kind. I’d like you to put down this proverb “A good deal is never lost”. (Доброе добром помнится).

3). Совершенствование речевых умений.

-Now let’s watch a short part of a most famous cartoon. Your task will be to answer the question- what are the characters doing?

-Karych is drinking tea. Kopatych is eating. They are playing chess. They are talking.

-What tense did you use to answer my question?

-present continuous

-Why?

-because they are doing it now

- Right. We use this tense when the action is happening now, at the moment, today. What is the form of the tense?

-am, is, are + Ving

-And now let’s do some exercises.

4). Работа с учебником.

Ex. 38, p. 54 student’s book -Look at the pictures and say, what they are doing.

Ex. 39, p. 55 student’s book - Cover the pictures and correct the sentences

5). Совершенствование навыков письменной речи.

-Now please, look at the card № 1. Write what people are / aren’t doing. You have 4 minutes for this task. (устная проверка, в конце урока собрать листочки для письменной проверки учителем)

6). Физминутка.

1,1,1 - little dog run.

2,2,2 - cats see you.

3,3,3 - birds on a tree.

4,4,4 - rats on the floor.

7). Развитие умения аудирования и чтения. (Message-1 p. 97,Unit 9, Card №2)

-Lots of people, especially boys like playing football. And now, we’ll listen to a story about a footballer. Put the pictures in the right order. Card №2. (работа по заданию на карточке)

III.Подведение итогов.

-So, today we revise traits of character and learnt a new proverb, let’s repeat it. We remember when and how to use Present continuous tense. You were good. We did a lot of work.

Тип урока: урок - знакомство с новым грамматическим явлением (образование утвердительного предложения в Present Simple и употребление)

Цель урока: познакомить учащихся с особенностями образования предложений в Present Simple

Задачи урока:

образовательные:

• объяснение нового грамматического материала;

• первичное закрепление грамматического материала через работу с разрезными карточками и фигурками.

развивающие:

• развитие у учащихся способности к сравнению, сопоставлению, аргументации, логическому изложению;

• развитие моторной памяти путем составления предложений из раздаточного материала;

• формирование личных интересов и активности учащихся,

воспитательные:

• развитие социокультурной компетенции;

• развитие языковой догадки;

• повышение мотивации и познавательной активности учащихся, интенсификация процесса обучения.
