c) Translate the following into English in writing.
Том часто згадував дитинство.
Bін жив у маленькому будинку з двома порожніми (без меблів) кімнатами, а навпроти був магазин. Том часто проходив повз цей магазин і дивився на вітрину. Він би охоче щось купив, якби в нього були гроші.
Коли його батько діставав трохи грошей, вдома була їжа. Але це траплялося рідко, і Том звик лягати спати, не повечерявши.
Батько міг легко втратити рівновагу. Бувало, що він вставав не з тієї ноги і починав звинувачувати в усьому уряд і свою дружину.
Одного разу Том побачив трьох чоловіків, які бились проти одного на вулиці. Він ходив навколо (вичікував), щоб побачити результат бійки. Чоловік мав перевагу над двома іншими, він був професіонал. Коли бійка скінчилася, Том підійшов до нього, і вони почали розмовляти. Хлопець дізнався, що чоловік заробляв на життя боксом. Тоді Том і вирішив стати боксером.
Том виходив на ринг і бився. Йому платили, але грошей було недостатньо. „Якби я міг стати промоутером, усе б змінилося”, думав Том. І він прийняв рішення.
Спочатку було дуже важко зводити кінці з кінцями, але Том не втрачав бадьорості. Він не марнував час і встановлював зв'язки з іншими боксерами, знайомився з іншими промоутерами, допомагав боксерам знайти опонентів, спаринг партнерів тощо.
Скоро Том почав забирати всі гроші і міг брати в кредит що завгодно в місцевих магазинах. Бувало, що у нього виникало сильне бажання повернутися на ринг. Але дружина не дозволяла.
