8.Conclusion.

The book does a small amount, but there are lots of interesting facts. Especially it was interesting to read about General Motors. General Motors was founded by some American businessman Billy Durant. But the manager of it was nothing. Because of the complex character he has lost his top managers, which included (in the future become) very loud the names. Walter Chrysler had worked for a while, but soon resigned and founded his own company, "Chrysler Corporation." Another employee he fired for that he smoked a cigarette in his office. The employee's name was Louis Chevrolet. In the 20s of last century due to loss Durant sells General Motors. New owner invites Sloan to manage the company. At that time, General Motors occupied only 12% of the automotive market, releasing eight car brands. At the same time Henry Ford's company held 60%, releasing only one brand.

For three years Sloan made GM's most influential companies in the U.S. ahead of Ford. By the way, at a time when the company went to the bottom of the Ford, it helped her stay Sloan. For him, it was important to have a good competitor.

I recommend this book to be read by all people, even those who are not working and not going to work in industry, business. The book reads very easily, in one breath and a very interesting. In general, well written and extremely interesting book.
