Flight documentation (aeronautical operational meteorological information) is available via the Internet and the information is reached at: http://opmet.dmi.dk
Password is required for access, as the information is restricted to aviation users for planning of flights operating from aerodromes within the Danish area of responsibility. Password can be obtained by application in writing to:

The information is divided into the following two parts:
–OPMET, which is the designation of a DMI database containing operational meteorological data i.e. TAF, METAR, SIGMET, upper winds etc. The information can be obtained as single messages, collected in lists or for specified routes.
–Chart products, which contain aeronautical meteorological charts on upper winds, upper air temperature and Significant Weather (SIGWX). Most of the products are based on data distributed within the World Area Forecast System (WAFS) and are available for most of the ICAO Regions.

TELETEXT
METAR/TAF as well as area forecast and GAFOR information is presented on Finnish TV Channel 1, teletext pages 428 and 429.
FRANCE
AEROWEB
Aeroweb

Meteo-France provides an aeronautical specialized service “Aeroweb” on its web site.
Pilots may consult complete meteorological flight files, including:
–EMSI France, EUROC and world wide forecast weather charts
–charts of winds and temperatures in altitude at different flight levels;
–METAR, TAF, SPECI, SIGMET.
It also provides minimum flight conditions per area and a METAR/SPECI plotting on a chart of France.
Information delivered by AEROWEB is also available from OLIVIA interactive terminals or SIA web site.
To access AEROWEB, pilots shall have an access code.
To obtain a access code
An access code is delivered freely to anyone proving an aeronautical activity:
–for members of the French national aeronautical federation, this code corresponds to the 7-digit license number; no particular procedure is required;
–for any pilot affiliated to a federation (other than FNA) or not, a request for aeronautical access code, together with the copy of their license or similar document shall be addressed to:

Aerofax is a 24 hours a day free fax polling service available to pilots who have a fax machine with a “polling” function and a key pad. The pilot is only charged for the fax itself.
Pilots can choose from the following documents: TEMSI EUROC, the wind/temperature charts from FL50 to FL100, the TEMSI FRANCE, low altitude charts over France at FL20, FL50 and FL100, and METAR, SPECI, TAF AND SIGMET for France and certain European and North African nations.
To get an access code, users who are not members of a federation must forward a copy of their license or similar document to:

AEROCARTE
This is a multichannel server mainly intended for airline companies and airport facilities and enables them to consult automatically by fax or telephone, all the world area forecast system information in addition to national charts and METAR, TAF, SPECI, and SIGMET.

METEOROLOGICAL SELF BRIEFING
Meteorological self briefing for operators and flight crew members is available via an internet based Meteorological Self Briefing (MSB) system. This system is available at
https://briefing.met.ie/. To obtain registration on the system, users are required to provide the following data via email to briefing@met.ie:
–contact details;
–area of activity (e.g. private pilot, airline etc);
–username (user defined);
–password (user defined).

NETHERLANDS
TELETEKST
Low level weather bulletins with METARs of various reporting stations in The Netherlands in the Dutch language are available via the Dutch public TV “Teletekst”, page 707.
The bulletins contain a concise description of the most important weather systems affecting flight as well as the following elements:
–significant weather, including icing and turbulence;
–clouds;
–thermals;
–height of the zero degree Celsius level if lower than 10000ft;
–surface wind;
–upper winds and temperatures at 500, 1500, 3000, 5000 and 10000ft.
An amended weather bulletin will be issued if significant changes in the weather conditions occur.
INTERNET
A dedicated web site (http://www.aviationweather.nl) is available, requiring username and password. These can be obtained from the following user organizations: KNVvL, AOPA Netherlands, PBN and VNV (Dutch ALPA). Professional users residing in the Netherlands may contact KNMI.

This service is available only from tone-type telephones with the “*” and “#” buttons. Choice of forecast area is made by use of the telephone buttons. Dial the desired number and follow the instructions. If the adequate button is not pressed within a certain period of time, the forecast connected to the line is read out after which the call is ended.
The forecast are also distributed in graphical versions on the Internet:

The forecast are issued with hours of validity (UTC): 0500 - 1100 (0400 - 1000 in summer)
0800 - 1400 (0700 - 1300 in summer)

Amended forecasts are issued as required. An outlook for the following day is issued about one hour before the termination of validity of the last forecast of the day.

SWITZERLAND
The aeronautical meteorological department of MeteoSwiss (Flugwetterzentrale) at Zurich Airport is the designated meteorological watch office (MWO) for Switzerland FIR/UIR.
The aeronautical meteorological briefing at Basle-Mulhouse airport is within the competence of the French meteorological service.
Meteorological information is available at the aerodromes (Selfbriefing Station). They are also available on telephone, FAX, SMS and internet.
