Pharmacologic Actions:

4. Cardiac Excitatory Action – 1 receptor

Increase force of myocardial contraction

(+) inotropic effect

Increase pacemaker activity

(+) chronotropic effect

Increase conduction velocity in the A-V node and shortened refractory period

(+) dromotropic effect
