Do you believe that this type of conspiracy built on the idea of a secret society of people (led by a principle of «the greater good» (ведомая принципом «общего блага»)) could be ruling our life/country/world? Could that be the government? Or maybe the government itself is just a larger and more sophisticated (усложнённая) version of that Sandford’s police station which solely executes orders (которая лишь исключительно исполняет приказы)?
PS: a quote from the film: Sandford is a lie. For the last 20 years, the village has been controlled by Frank and the NWA. They’ve lulled (внушать, убеждать) everyone into thinking this is a perfect village and killed anyone who’s threatened to change that.
