Conclusions

The work of the EFPA SCE, on which I am proud to have served from its inception in 1990-2009 - the last 10 years as convener, has achieved notable success. It has supported the development of ethical practices throughout Europe. The Meta-Code of Ethics has stood the test of time. The current challenges are to build upon this success, to ensure complete coverage across Europe, and to contribute to a universal ini­tiative to support the development of ethical practice, taking account of the changing circumstances in which psycholo­gists practice.
