Структурное построение учебного пособия
Пособие состоит из двух тематический частей:
Тема 1 (Unit 1.) «Introducing yourself and others. Starting a conversation», работа над которой может быть ограничена 2-3 часами аудиторного времени в рамках действующей программы бгу.
Тема 2 (Unit 2.) «Language learning experience. Defining objectives for the future» работа над которой может быть ограничена 5-6 часами аудиторного времени в рамках действующей программы бгу.
Следует отметить, что материал пособия обладает значительным потенциалом и может быть спланирован на большее количество часов при использовании пособия в рамках других программ.
Каждая тема построена по единому методическому принципу: сначала предлагается совместное целеполагание темы (Listen, read and talk about… , Learn how to…., Practice… Revise…), стадия вызова (Communication Starter), затем следует организация совместной речевой деятельности на основе заданий, предлагаемых в пособии.
В каждой из двух тем пособия выделяется 3 части:
Part A. Skills Development – предназначена для работы на аудиторных занятиях и является основным материалом, подлежащим усвоению и активному использованию.
Part B. Grammar and Vocabulary – предназначена в основном для самостоятельной работы студентов. Поскольку для большинства заданий и упражнений дается ключ в конце Модуля, они могут выполняться в режиме самоконтроля, либо c последующим контролем на аудиторных занятиях.
Part C. Additional Reading. Communication of Cultures and Culture of Communication – тексты данного раздела могут предлагаться студентам как для самостоятельной работы, так и использоваться как дополнительный материал в группах с более высокой языковой подготовкой.
Рекомендации даются в заданиях и упражнениях, а также в текстах «Cultural hints for performing presentations» и «Speeches of Introduction» и в Приложении 4 «Tips for Making Presentations» Рекомендуется также построить речь преподавателя, представляющего себя группе на первом занятии с учетом тех рекомендаций, которые рассматриваются в заданиях и упражнениях модуля.
Предполагается, что совершенствование и развитие навыков презентации будет осуществляться на материале других тематических блоков.
