Ее простые, но выразительные модели были самыми дорогими в мире. Шанель нравилось копировать саму себя. Она разрабатывала много вариантов одной и той же модели, утверждая, что нет ничего унизительного в том, чтобы женщины одевались в одном стиле. Было ли это случайно или преднамеренно, но Шанель удалось создать свой собственный образ – это был образ женщины XX века, олицетворяющий независимость, успех, индивидуальность и стиль.
