IV. Плоскость. Следы плоскости. Прямая и точка в плоскости
Плоскость, наклоненная ко всем плоскостям проекций, называется плоскостью общего положения.
Плоскости, перпендикулярные плоскостям проекций, называются проецирующими:
π1 - горизонтально-проецирующая,
π2 - фронтально-проецирующая
π3 - профильнопреоцирующая.
Плоскости, параллельные плоскостям проекций, называются плоскостями уровня:
||π1 - горизонтальная,
||π2 - фронтальная,
||π3 - профильная.
Главные линии плоскости: горизонталь, фронталь, профиль – это прямые, лежащие в плоскости и параллельные соответствующим плоскостям проекций; линия наибольшего ската – прямая, лежащая в плоскости, перпендикулярная любой горизонтали этой плоскости.
Следы плоскости – линии пересечения плоскости с плоскостями проекций.
Следы плоскости параллельные соответствующим проекциям главных линий плоскости – горизонтали, фронтали, профили.
Линия наибольшего ската и горизонтальный след плоскости между собой перпендикулярны.

V. Взаимное пересечение плоскостей. Пересечение прямой с плоскостью.
Две плоскости пересекаются по прямой линии. Следы прямой пересечения двух плоскостей находятся на пересечении одноименных следов этих плоскостей.
Если одноименные следы плоскостей в пределах чертежа не пересекаются, то вводится вспомогательная плоскость, с помощью которой находятся произвольные точки, принадлежащие линии пересечения.
Чтобы найти точку пересечения прямой с плоскостью, надо заданную прямую заключить во вспомогательную плоскость, лучше проецирующую; найти прямую пересечения плоскостей – заданной и вспомогательной; на пересечении прямых – данной и полученной – получить искомую точку.
