I. Поставьте причастия настоящего времени на причастия прошедшего времени в следующих словосочетаниях и переведите их.

II. Поставьте глаголы в скобках в причастие настоящего или прошедшего времени в нужной форме и переведите их.

Overseas Relations of Great Britain

1. Britain’s varied overseas relationships reflect its position as a major trading and maritime nation, heavily dependent on its ability to sell its goods abroad; its status as a world financial center; and its concern to help to secure peace and social progress through international co-operation. It has diplomatic relations with some 150 countries and is a member of over 120 international organizations, including, in particular, the United Nations, the European Community and the Commonwealth. In an inter – dependent world, overseas interests are seen as best provided for through cooperation on a regional or global basis.

2. A permanent member of the Security Council, Britain makes support for the United Nations a central feature in pursuit of its foreign policy objectives the peaceful resolution of disputes, disarmament and arms control, the protection of human rights, and the promotion of the rule of law.
