Форма урока: повторительно-обобщающий

Цели: Практическая – обобщить и закрепить знания по теме «Clothes and Appearance»;

Общеобразовательная – повторение изученных ЛЕ, знакомство учащихся с пословицами по теме «Clothes», развитие навыков диалогической, монологической речи;

Развивающая – Развитие мышления, памяти, речевой догадки, логического; воображения;

Воспитательная - Способствовать развитию нравственного воспитания, работе на уроке, толерантного отношения, уважительного отношения к преподавателю, работе в группах.

Оборудование: иллюстрации, аудиоприложение, магнитофон, карточки с транскрипционными значками, УМК

How are you? Glad to see you. Today we shall revise all the words on the topic “Clothes, appearance” and speak about your favourite type of clothing. What words with the following sounds do you know? [h], [t], [d], [s], [ʃ], [k], [k], [s], [s], [s]. Now answer my questions, please: 1. What do we put on our head in summer? 2. What do we put on our hands in winter? 3. What do we put on our feet in autumn? 4. What sport clothes do you know? 5. What casual clothes do you know? 6. What do you like to wear at home? 7. What do you wear if you go to a sports club? 8. What do you wear if you go to a birthday party? 9. What do you wear if you go to school? 10. What do you wear if you go on a picnic? Your home task was to prepare riddles about your classmates. Let’s solve your riddles. Your riddles were perfect and gave full information about each pupil. Sometimes we also compare people with animals. Look at the blackboard. There are some comparisons. Choose the right word: As hungry as … a wolf As blind as … a bat As busy as … a bee As funny as … a monkey You know that there are a lot of proverbs and sayings about appearance. The following task for you is to match English and Russian equivalents of sayings. 1. Handsome is as handsome does. - Не тот хорош, кто лицом пригож, а тот, кто на дело гож. 2. You cannot judge a tree by its bark. - Не суди о человеке по пальто. 3. All that glitters is not gold. - Не все золото, что блестит. 4. Clothes make the man. - Одежда красит человека. 5. Manners make the man. - Хорошие манеры красят человека. 6. Good clothes open all doors. - Красивая одежда открывает все двери. You know a lot of English proverbs and sayings and Russian equivalents. Now, act out the dialogues, please. Listen to Paul and Jane and fill in the gaps. Look at the pictures I gave you. There are people in different clothes. The following task for you is to describe the picture. Now make up a story about them, e.g.: Clothes play an important role in our life.
