Higher education in the usa

The system of higher education in the USA consists of colleges and universities, but there is no national system of higher education in the USA. There are a lot of two-year colleges, universities, technical institutes, classical liberal arts of colleges. The college course of study is usually four years. Colleges usually award such degrees as: Bachelor of Arts., Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Philosophy, Bachelor of Letters. The colleges course usually includes mathematics, English, philosophy, economy, history, at least one natural science. The college course of Bachelor of Arts includes Latin and sometimes Greek too. Another University degree is the degree of Master of Arts. To obtain this degree the candidate mast pass certain exams after one year of studies. Some universities maintain schools of law and medicine. Harward and Yale universities maintain school the theology as well. The main honour of the university is the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The minimum period of study for this degree is 2 years after obtaining Bachelor’s degree. The candidate for this degree must pass exams on one or two subjects and submit the thesis with the results of research.

Saratov state law academy

I study at Saratov state law academy. I’m proud to be the student of one of the most prestigious academy of Russia. The Saratov state academy of law was founded in 1917. A faculty was then opened at the local University, it was converted into Institute of Soviet Law in 1931 and into the institute of Law in 1936/ in 1994 it was granted the status of Academy. The academy comprises the institutes and faculties concerned with Russian and international law, criminal and civil law, administrative and employment law and other. Instruction is conducted according to the basic programs. The Academy is famous for its library which contains thousands of books and other educational materials. Sports and arts are in great favor in the Academy. The academy affords opportunities for creative and professional growth/
