Article III For purposes of implementing this Treaty, the Parties shall hold meetings at least twice a year of a Bilateral Implementation Commission. Article IV 1. This Treaty shall be subject to ratification in accordance with the constitutional procedures of each Party. This Treaty shall enter into force on the date of the exchange of instruments of ratification. 2. This Treaty shall remain in force until December 31, 2012 and may be extended by agreement of the Parties or superseded earlier by a subsequent agreement. 3. Each Party, in exercising its national sovereignty, may withdraw from this Treaty upon three months written notice to the other Party. Article V This Treaty shall be registered pursuant to Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations. TASK 5. Below are language exhibits of the formal style.

A. Translate the excepts from the 1963 Test Ban Treaty and the 1968 Non-Proliferation Treaty.

1. This Treaty shall be open to all States for signature. Any State which does not sign this Treaty before its entry into force in accordance with para­graph 3 of this Article may accede to it at any time.

2. This Treaty shall be registered by the Depositary Governments pursuant to Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations.

3. This Treaty shall be of unlimited duration. Each Party shall in exercising its national sovereignty have the right to withdraw from the Treaty if it decides that extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of the Treaty, have jeorpadised the supreme interests of its country. It shall give notice of such withdrawal to all other Parties to the Treaty three months in advance.

4. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Article I and II of this Treaty.

5. Each of the Parties to the Treaty undertakes to pursue negotiations in good faith on effective measures relating to cessation of the nuclear arms race at an early date and to nuclear disarmament, and on a treaty on general and complete disarmament under strict and effective international control.

6. Nothing in this Treaty affects the right of any group of States to conclude regional treaties in order to assure the total absence of nuclear weapons in their respective territories.

6. For the purpose of the present Convention, the following expressions shall have the meanings hereunder assigned to them:
