Способы перевода герундия на русский язык
Поскольку в русском языке нет форм, соответствующих герундию, и изолированно, вне предложения, он не может быть переведен на русский язык, то при переводе используются различные приемы. Герундий может быть переведен неопределенной формой глагола, отглагольным существительным, деепричастием, либо при помощи придаточного предложения с глаголом сказуемым в личной форме.
