Примерный вариант контрольной работы №1

The Passive Voice

I. Write sentences in the passive as in the example:

(Her hair/dye/ at the moment) Her hair is being dyed at the moment.

1) (The Queen /not drive/ to the embassy/ yet.

2) (The convict/ take/ to the prison/ now)

3) (His wound/ not treat/ yet)

4) (My car/ break into/ last night)

II. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct passive form.

III. Change the sentences from the active into the passive.

Omit the agent where it can be omitted.

I. Open the brackets using the verb to be in the Present Indefinite Tense:
