Prepare to be inspired

Our faculty includes published authors and researchers, internationally recognized professors and experienced professional instructors. These inspiring and dedicated tutors will bring you a wealth of experience from many specialist areas of the tourism and hospitality sector, including five-star luxury hotel management, mystery shoppers, cruise ship operations, professional chefs, human resources, marketing and environmental tourism.

Guest lecturers

High-profile guest lecturers are regularly invited to give elective courses and seminars on their specialized subjects. These guests, as well as external staff, provide valuable links to other educational establishments and ensure that our programmes are up-to-date with industry trends and requirements. Furthermore, the Washington State University faculty, composed of professors and those with doctorates, will teach terms seven and eight of the Bachelor programme, bringing American business and research expertise to the programme.

Real-life consultancy projects

César Ritz Colleges has developed an initiative giving you the chance to undertake real-life consultancy projects requested by hotels. The first of these projects was launched when we were asked by an Icelandic hotel for help to develop a new marketing strategy. Based on its success, consequent projects have been undertaken, such as in assisting in developing a luxury property in Zermatt, with César Ritz students playing a critical role.

Study in the French and the German parts of Switzerland

During your Bachelor studies you will experience life on different campuses: at our Professional Centre in Le Bouveret and in Lucerne, with an emphasis on practical skills and superior customer service; and at the University Centre in Brig where the focus is more on the managerial and strategic aspects of international business.

Bachelor and Master degree in four years

Our three-year Bachelor programme has been developed so that graduates are eligible for several accelerated Master degree programmes, offering you the opportunity to complete both a Bachelor and a Master in just four years instead of the usual five.

Prestigious international partners

Over the last 30 years, César Ritz Colleges has developed a worldwide network of prestigious partner universities. Therefore, all degrees and diplomas are offered in partnership with renowned international institutions, Washington State University (USA) for the Bachelor programme and Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) for the Postgraduate Diploma and Master courses.

César Ritz Colleges participated in THE-ICE survey, an international study of colleges and universities that offer hospitality programmes. The survey reflected a 93% satisfaction rate in the overall learning experience, well above the average of all other universities participating in the survey.

The learning experience included elements such as the quality of the lecturers and course contents as well as furnishing of career advice and employability at the end of their studies.

When starting the Bachelor programme, for the first two years you can choose the César Ritz campus that fits you best:

•Le Bouveret Campus if you would like to experience the French-speaking part of Switzerland and discover the Lake Geneva region. Le Bouveret is a resort town located on the shores of the lake.

•Lucerne Campus if you wish to experience a German-speaking city of Switzerland and major tourism destination. The Lucerne Campus is located in the heart of the city of Lucerne.

imProVe Your business english CommuniCation

The English Foundation Programme offered by SEG, Swiss Education Group on the Le Bouveret Campus is an ideal way to strengthen your English language skills before commencing your academic studies at César Ritz Colleges Switzerland. The length of the programme depends on your personal English level and

motivation, with the main objective of achieving the required score to enter the study programme desired.

The Higher Diploma and Bachelor degrees awarded by César Ritz Colleges Switzerland are accredited by the State of Valais Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Switzerland.

In addition to the accreditation by the State of Valais, the Bachelor degree is validated by Washington State University (USA). You will receive both Swiss and American recognized degrees.
