3. The practical part of the

A few words about the main object of research. The company «RHYTHM» was created in 1990. The basic direction of activity - trade in expendable materials for the computers, office equipment and office. On a warehouse of the company is constantly there are more than 1500 names of supplies of more than 50 leading world companies. Today the «time» is engaged in the sale (retail/cashless settlement), guarantee and service of computer and office equipment. The firm also the «time» is a service centre the following manufacturers: Acer, Asus, Benq, HP, Packard Bell, ViewSonic, TopDevice, Brother, KraftWay, D-link, the APC. «Company Time» supplies licensed software solutions of any complexity, starting from the OS, to applications, antivirus software, support software, etc., in addition, the company «Rhythm» is the official partner of Microsoft, Kaspersky Lab, ESET, EtenSys Corel, Adobe, Oracle, Acronis, TrendMicro, Promt. In the computer market g. Syzran the «time» is the largest organization in 1992 (from the moment of Foundation of the branch). At present our staff numbers more than 100 specialists. Firm «Time» has made a big contribution in the field of automation of accounting at the enterprises of the city and the region on the basis of known software products 1C, as well as its own development. Strengths of the company are - strong team of specialists, long-term communications with manufacturers and suppliers, a large amount of information on the specifics of the local market. In the course of the analysis of the company was given a task to find the answer to the question is whether the price policy of the main reasons for the success of the «time» in the computer market of Syzran. To put it simply, are the prices of the major categories of goods in the «time» more attractive to consumers than the other market participants. To clarify this it is necessary to compare the prices of the «time» with their direct competitors. As competitors were taken firms involved in the sale of computers and completing parts - «Positronika», «Computer world», «sunrise». In comparison participate peripherals, audio systems and components (processors, motherboards, graphics cards, etc.). The task is to establish the difference in the prices of goods and preparation of the full picture of the advantages and disadvantages of all participants of the market and of the company «Clock» in particular. The tables below show - compare prices on separate groups of the goods, and then on the results of the index analysis is carried out with the purpose to find out, which of the companies has the lowest average level of prices. Prices are taken from the price-sheets placed on the sites of firms as at 28 may. In comparison participate only the goods available in the presence of all the participants in the analysis. From the table it is visible, that the firm «Time» has the lowest price on the monitors diagonal of more than 24 inches. For all other categories it has no advantages in price, but also the absolute «outsider» she, as well, is not (the lowest prices on the categories at the shop " sunrise"). For the three categories of the four prices the «time» slightly higher than in the «Positronika» (in all but the widescreen monitors). The absolute leader in this market is «sunrise» (the lowest prices on all the groups of the goods). The highest prices are found near the shop «Computer world» (the same for all the goods)
