У моего брата большая семья. Он живет вместе с родителями жены. Они – пенсионеры и им обоим по 75 лет. Кроме того, у него трое детей. Его жена Ирина не работает. Она заботится о детях и ведет хозяйство.

Старший сын брата – школьник. Ему 8 лет. Две младшие дочери – близнецы. Им по 5 лет. Они ходят в детский сад. Девочки помогают маме по дому. Я люблю проводить время с ними, потому что они очень забавные.

Вечерами вся семья собирается вместе и становится очень шумно. Все они прекрасно ладят друг с другом. Я очень к ним привязан и часто хожу к ним в гости.

Lena: No, I’m from Moscow. My family lives there now.

Lena: Neither. I live at my sister’s. She has a nice three-room flat not far from the centre of the city.

Kate: You are lucky. Is your sister married?

Lena: Oh, yes. She is married and has a daughter already.

Kate: And what about your sister?

Lena: She is a teacher of English.

Kate: Is she fond of her job?

Kate: Rather. We are five: my parents, a grandmother, my younger brother and me.

Lena: Does your grandmother work?

Kate: No, she is retired. She is over sixty. But she does a lot of housework.

Lena: Is your brother still at school?

Kate: Yes, he is. He is leaving school this year. He is seventeen.

Lena: What is he going to be?

Kate: His dream is to be an actor. He is a great theatre-lover.
