Планировавшийся боевиками крупный террористический акт предотвращен в Дагестане, сообщает Национальный антитеррористический комитет (НАК).

"На окраине села Хучни Табасаранского района Дагестана в недостроенном частном доме было обнаружено СВУ (самодельное взрывное устройство) в виде 50-литровой бочки, заполненной большим количеством поражающих элементов - металлических строительных дюбелей, залитой монтажной пеной с выведенными наружу проводами. Прибывшими на место взрывотехниками республиканского УФСБ СВУ было своевременно обезврежено", - говорится в сообщении.

По данным НАК, мощность заряда составляла более 40 килограммов в тротиловом эквиваленте. "Образовалась крупная воронка, а шум взрыва был слышен на большом расстоянии", - отмечается в пресс-релизе.

"Тем самым был предотвращен планируемый бандподпольем крупный террористический акт", - говорится в сообщении.
