Task 1. Read the following information.
The Present Simple Tense употребляется:

Для выражения общеизвестной истины или закона природы. – The sun rises in the east.

Для выражения обычных, регулярно происходящих действий. – He takes a bus to get to the university.

Для констатации фактов. – He works in a bank.
-
Часто употребляется со следующими обстоятельствами времени: usually, often, seldom, never, on Monday, as a rule, at night, sometimes, from time to time, every day/week/month, at the weekend, in the morning/afternoon/evening.
The Present Simple Tense образуется при помощи инфинитива смыслового глагола без частицы to. В третьем лице единственного числа к глаголу добавляется окончание – s/-es:
I study at the University.
My brother likes to read detectives.
Вопросительная и отрицательная форма образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола DO, который в третьем лице единственного числа имеет форму DOES.
