Let’s visit London on Sunday. On Sunday most of the places of interest are closed in England. If the weather is not bad, Londoners go to the large parks. Londoners like to come to the parks with their families. The boys like to play football there. It’s a national English sport. Many go in for boating. Young ladies go in for horse - riding. It’s their hobby.

The London Zoo is always full of visitors. In the evening Londoners go to the pubs. There are hundreds of pubs all over London. Food is cheap and so is ale – English beer. Many Londoners prefer to spend their Sunday at home with their families. One of the oldest English traditions is the fire - place. On the whole visitors find Londoners good-natured, reasonable, easy to get along with.
