Read the definitions of the following economic concepts, remember them and try to use in your speech.

To launch a new business – to start a new business.

Life style business – small business intended to provide the owner with a comfortable life.

High growth venture – small business intended to achieve rapid growth and high profits on investment.

Deal in something – to buy and sell.

Uncertainty – a nervous feeling you have because you think bad things might happen.

Resilience – someone’s ability to become healthy, happy or strong again after illness, disappointment or other problem.

Challenge – something that needs a lot of skill, energy and determination to deal with or achieve, especially something you have never done before and will enjoy doing, i.e. test, confirmation, defiance, dare, face-off (slang).

Bounce back – to become healthy, happy or successful again after something bad had happened.

Outlook – an idea about what a situation will be like in the future; attitude, viewpoint.

Vision – the ability to think about and plan for the future, using intelligence and imagination, especially in business and politics.

Stick to – to continue to do or use one particular thing and not change it or stop it for any period of time; remain faithful, adhere to.
