CANARY IS - NATIONAL REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

PASSPORT & VISA

Required unless exempted by Schengen Agreement. Crew member certificates or pilot licenses are accepted in lieu of a passport or visa provided the crew member is on duty and remains at the airport of landing or is in transit to another airport located within the contracting party.

NOTE: Additional requirements may exist. Please contact the appropriate authority to confirm information.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL

Any aircraft registered in a State party to the Free Transit Agreement or in a State having signed a bilateral agreement with Spain, will have the privilege to fly across the Spanish territory and land for non-traffic purposes without any notification in advance or without permission.

SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

International scheduled operations are governed by bilateral air agreements or by special authorization.

NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

Spain, as a State party of the Multilateral Agreement on Commercial Rights of the European non-sched- uled air services, grants the right to operate flights for the purpose of taking on or discharging passengers, cargo or mail in aircraft registered in States also party to the aforementioned agreement, operated by nationals of such States, provided these flights belong to the following categories:

a.flights operated for humanitarian needs or on an emergency;

b.aerotaxis;

c.flights the whole capacity of which is chartered by one single person (individual or entity person) for the transportation of its staff or loads;

d.occasional flights;

e.cargo flights;

f.aircraft the whole capacity is chartered by one single person (individual or entity person, except travel agencies) for the transport of passengers and cargo of interest to the charterer for other reasons than those specified in paragraph c.;

g.flights carried out for the transport of students;

h.special event charters;

i.inclusive tour charters.

Requests for the authorization shall be submitted by letter (2 copies), by telegraphic message or via SITA to:

The written request should include the following information:

name of operator;

name and address of charterer;

type of aircraft and registration marks;

dates and estimated times for arrival and departure;

place(s) of embarkation or disembarkation of passengers and/or load abroad;

category of the requested flight, number of passengers, nature and quantity of cargo;

charter price.

Requests via telegraph or SITA should include the following information:

identification of the airline;

number or identification abbreviation of the message, if appropriate;

date and time when the message was sent by the carrier;

abbreviations:

a.request for authorization: REQ

b.flight information: INF

type of aircraft and registration marks;

dates of the flight and ETA (UTC) at the Spanish destination airport and estimated time of departure of the return flight;

route to be operated (plain language);

type of flight and number of passengers to be disembarked and/or embarked. Nature and weight of cargo.

The request should include the payment of the reply for an amount equal to the cost of the telegram.

STATE AIRCRAFT FLIGHTS

The overfly and stopover in Spain of foreign state aircraft require a specific authorization.

The manage, control and assignation of these authorizations depend on:

AIRPORT(S) OF ENTRY

Aircraft arriving from or departing to airports outside the customs territory of the E.U. shall make the first landing and final departure at a customs (international) airport.

SCHEDULING COORDINATION

Any planned times of arrival and/or departure of commercial air traffic shall be requested from the Scheduling Coordination Office at least 3 days before the date of operations, in order to be assigned an available “slot”.

Requests shall be completed in accordance with the instructions specified in the IATA Standard Schedule Information Manual (SSIM), and should be sent via the SITA-network, or if unable, via mail or fax.

Modifications or cancellations of previously coordinated flights must be reported, during office hours, at least 3 working days prior to the date operations.

Slots will be assigned only within airport operating hours, unless special permission to operate outside these hours has been granted by the airport management.

Notifications of isolated operations of an exceptional nature that imply a new flight or a modification of already coordinated flights will be submitted, by the means mentioned above, directly to the coordination center at each airport.

All general aviation, business, airtaxies and training flights must request authorization from the scheduling coordination office at each airport 3 hours prior to ETA or ETD giving the following information: date of flight, identification of flight, type of aircraft, airport and time of departure, airport and time of arrival.

Slots must be requested before filing the flight plan and the flight plan must include the EOBT based on the authorized airport slot.

The following flights are exempt from scheduling coordination:

flights rerouted due to technical or meteorological reasons;

humanitarian flights;

search and rescue flights;

flights of state aircraft;

flights exempted by appropriate aeronautical authority.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL

For entry, transit or transport of foreign aircraft permissions shall be requested from:

For the purpose of overflying the territory of the Republic of Croatia and technical landing at Croatian territory in scheduled and non-scheduled traffic, no authorization is needed, if an aircraft or its operator have been registered in an ICAO member state, or in a state which has made an international air traffic agreement with Croatia (except for international state aircraft used for military, customs and police flights).

Authorization is not required for:

a.flights of international civil aircraft which an aircraft operator declares in a flight plan as non-commercial – private flight;

b.flights from the civil registry used exclusively for transport of persons with a special status;

c.medical emergency flights;

d.a flight with emergency landing needed;

e.a humanitarian flight;

f.a search and rescue flight.

For the purpose of granting authorization, an aircraft operator shall submit the following documents:

a.Air Operator Certificate (AOC) or Declaration of Competency;

b.Specific Operating Provisions;

c.Certificate of Registration;

d.Certificate of Airworthiness;

e.Noise Certificate;

f.Certificate of Insurance.

An aircraft operator shall submit for authorization all additional changes relating to a previously authorized flight.

In case of a single flight or a series of at least five non-scheduled flights, no statement of opinion is needed by the Croatian airline operators if it refers to the Third and Fourth Freedom of Flight. In case that an aircraft operator submits a request for exercising the Fifth Freedom, a statement of opinion by the Croatian airline operators shall be claimed.

SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

An application for granting authorizations to scheduled air traffic shall be submitted by the aircraft operator in written form as a timetable, fifteen days before the first flight is scheduled.

The application shall comprise the following data: a. name of aircraft operator;

b.flight number;

c.aircraft type and registration;

d.aircraft capacity;

e.weekly timetable;

f.place of aircraft take-off and landing.

The application shall be submitted separately for both summer and winter timetables.

NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

An application for granting authorizations to non-scheduled air traffic shall be submitted by the aircraft operator in written form for:

a.flights in non-scheduled traffic: two days before the first flight is scheduled;

b.a series of flights in non-scheduled traffic: fifteen days before the first flight is scheduled.

The application shall comprise the following data:

a.name of the aircraft operator;

b.flight number;

c.aircraft type and registration;

d.flight intention;

e.time table (daily, weekly and monthly);

f.flight route.

NON-COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS

For non-commercial flights of foreign aircraft within the territory of Croatia no entry, transit or transport permission is required if the aircraft is registered in an ICAO member state. The submitted flight plan shall comprise the purpose of the flight and name of the operator.

STATE AIRCRAFT FLIGHTS

For entry and landing of foreign state aircraft (used in military, customs and police services) permission shall be requested from:

PASSPORT

Required, except:

holders of Laissez-passer issued by the United Nations or EU

citizens of EU countries as well as Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway who may enter Cyprus with their national identity card provided there is a photo.

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus refuses admission to:

holders of passport of “Republic of Macedonia”. Entry is allowed for passport holders of “Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”;

holder of passports issued by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

If a crew member has an identity card with photo issued by the Aviation Authority of his/her native country, no passport or visa is required when entering or departing Cyprus on his/her normal duty as a crew member.

VISA

Required, except for a stay up to 90 days for all nationals of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, United States of America, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela.

Additional categories of persons who do not require visa:

a.holders of diplomatic, service or other official passport;

b.civilian air and sea crew;

c.flight crew and attendants on emergency or rescue flights and other helpers in the event of disaster or accident;

d.holders of laissez-passer issued by the United Nations to their officials;

e.persons who are in possession of work permit issued by the Migration Officer;

f.persons who posses permanent or temporary residence permit issued by the Migration Officer;

g.persons who are posses study permit.

NOTE: Additional requirements may exist. Please contact the appropriate authority to confirm information.

HEALTH

Passengers are not required to present vaccination certificates except when coming directly from an area infected with cholera, yellow fever or typhoid fever.

Prior to the intended flight(s) the following documents shall be presented together with the application:

a.operating permit and certificate of reliability;

b.certificate of entry;

c.noise certificate;

d.proof of operating minima;

e.airworthiness certificate;

f.third-party and passenger legal liability insurance;

g.copy of the charterer contract signed by the airline company and the charterer;

h.personal information;

i.the name of the official authorized recipient.

j.confirmation that Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS II or TCAS version 7) is fitted (if not, provide exemption statement by the Airline’s Aeronautical Authority).

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

Unless international agreements or other regulations provide otherwise, the schedule of international air services into the Republic of Cyprus departing outside the European Economic Area (EU + EFTA + Switzerland), and air services departing from Cyprus to a territory outside the European Economic Area, are subject to approval of the Air Transport Licensing Authority. For services not regulated by bilateral agreements the Air Transport Licensing Authority may grant provisional permission at his discretion. Applications for such permits shall be submitted (at least 15 days prior to the commence of the first flight) to the Chairman, Air Transport Licensing Authority.

In cases of airline and air carrier operating flights outside the provisions of a bilateral or multilateral agreement, and the state of the aircraft is not a Contracting party, application must be made through Diplomatic Channels to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The application shall contain the following information:

a.number of weekly frequencies;

b.designations to be flown;

c.indication of times;

d.aircraft type;

e.capacity;

f.flight number;

g.aircraft operator and address;

h.type and registration marks of the aircraft;

i.nature, scope, details and conditions of the flight;

j.insurance;

m.dry or wet-lease category, if any;

n.code-share category, if any.

The application for Non-European Community state air carriers to initiate regular or non-regular flights shall contain the following information:

a.aircraft operator and address

b.name and address and business of the charterer(s);

c.dry or wet-lease category, if any;

d.code-share category, if any:

e.aircraft type, nationality and registration marks;

f.noise certificate (all aircraft must be chapter 3 compliant);

g.confirmation that Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS II or TCAS version 7) is fitted. If not provide exemption statement by the airlines aeronautical authority;

h.description of aircraft equipment appropriate for RVSM or non-RVSM environment covering the minimum requirements to fly within Nicosia FIR;

i.nature of cargo and passengers on board;

j.in case of aircraft transporting dangerous or radioactive goods, determine the goods in accordance to ICAO Annex 18;

k.insurance;

l.intended route and destination of the flight as well as flight number, date, time and location for passage of the Nicosia FIR;

m.in case of landing, information on aerodrome as well as date and estimate time of arrival and departure;

n.in case of a new operator/air carrier is carrying out flights it is necessary to submit valid copies of all aircraft certificates;

o.in case of a new aircraft carrying out flights, all aircraft certificates must be submitted prior of the operation, to obtain permission.

Deviations from the flight schedule program (cancellations of individuals services, additional flight and fundamental changes on a flight), shall be submitted to the Civil Aviation Authority for permission not later than 4 working days prior to the beginning of the flight, irrespective of the previous coordination.

Air carriers are obliged to present tariffs, and alterations to tariffs, for approval to the Civil Aviation Authority not later than 4 weeks prior to the intended introduction, if possible on a printed form or electronically, unless an air transport agreement or respective intergovernmental agreements provide otherwise.

NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHTS (COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS)

Non-European Economical member State aircraft operator wishing to carry out non-scheduled flights into the Republic of Cyprus for the purpose of taking on or discharging passengers, cargo or mail, shall apply to the Air Transport Licensing Authority, through the Director of Civil Aviation (see address

above) for permission to carry out such operations not less than 15 days in advance of the intended landing.

The application must include the following information in the order shown:

a.name of operator;

b.type of aircraft and registration marks;

c.date and time of arrival at, and departure from Larnaca Intl or Paphos Intl airports;

d.place or places of embarkation or disembarkation abroad as the case may be, of passengers and/or freight;

e.purpose of flight and number of passengers and/or nature and amount of freight;

f.name, address and business of charterer, if any.

In individual special cases Department of Civil Aviation grant exceptions from the above time limitations and in particular for the following categories of flights:

a.aircraft on a disaster operation;

b.rendering medical assistance;

c.SAR Services;

d.ambulance flight;

e.humanitarian flight;

f.for transportation of a/c spare parts;

g.diplomatic flight;

h.positioning flight replacing a grounded aircraft due to technical reason;

i.repatriation of ship crew or ship workers.

For international private, pleasure and training flights 72 hours (3 working days) prior permission required.

Local private, pleasure and training flights are permitted provided:

the aircraft is equipped with pressure altitude reporting transponder,

all crew and passengers shall pass security control and clearance and possess clear criminal record from the country of permanent residence.

Inclusive Tour charter (ITC) flights

Charter Operations procedures for Non-European Community operators and in addition for European operators and air carriers in case of ITC from/to Non-European territory air routes:

a.whenever practicable applications for ITC flights must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the commencements of each charter series;

b.applications for ITC series comprising up to 10 rotations may be submitted at least one month in advance of the first flight;

c.the licensee shall, upon arrival of each flight in Cyprus or within 24 hours thereafter, provide the Department of Civil Aviation with passenger list which shall contain the following items of information in respect of each arriving passenger:

name of passenger;

name of CTO licensed premises where the passenger will be accommodated.

d.the licensee shall provide the Department of Civil Aviation with name list of passengers who will be travelling on an outgoing ITC at least 48 hours prior to the departure of the flight;

e.ITC operators, on access for Community air carriers to intra-community air routes, shall not apply for permission to carry out ITC flights to and from Cyprus territory, shall submit a notification of their flights to Department of Civil Aviation no later than 15 working days before the effective date of the time-table and obtain slot confirmation;

NOTE: The notification shall contain name of passenger and name of CTO licensed premises where the passenger will be accommodated.

Application for ITC flights shall be submitted to the Director of the Department of Civil Aviation (see GENERAL) on the appropriate “Applications for IT Charter Operations” form. Applications submitted by other means (telex, E-mail, etc.) must include all items of information mentioned in the application form. Applications shall be submitted either by the interested air carrier, or its local General Sales Agency, who will also provide a back-up letter or telex by the air carrier containing the main items of information and authorizing such submission.

PRIVATE FLIGHTS (NON COMMERCIAL)

For international private flights 72 hours (three working days) prior permission is required provided that they are equipped with serviceable two way radio communication equipment and serviceable aircraft navigational equipment.

Application for special permission must be submitted to the Director of Civil Aviation (see GENERAL) stating the following details:

a.flight number;

b.name of pilot-in-command;

c.type of aircraft and registration marks;

d.the route to be followed in the Nicosia FIR including ETA at the FIR boundary and ETA at Larnaca Intl or Paphos Intl;

e.the endurance of the aircraft at the FIR boundary on entry (in hours);

f.emergency equipment carried.

Pilot shall not land at Larnaca Intl or Paphos Intl before approval has been received.

STATE AIRCRAFT

If exemption has not been granted by special agreement, for flights with State aircraft, application must be sent through Diplomatic Channels to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and copy to Director of Civil Aviation. The application shall have been received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not later than 10 working days before the estimated date of operation

AIRPORT(S) OF ENTRY

Aircraft must first land at or finally depart from an international airport.

SCHEDULE AND AIRPORT COORDINATION

Schedule coordination or airport coordination, of both schedule and nonSchedule Air Traffic at Cyprus Airports, is subject to the following regulations:

a.The airport coordinator or schedules facilitator has to be notified in accordance with the deadlines set by IATA as defined in the IATA Worldwide Scheduling Guidelines on all Arrival and Departure times (in UTC) of all flights to/from the airports in Cyprus.

b.The slot application for the planned arrival and departure times is required in written form, in IATA SSIM, chapter 6 format by: SITA: NICASXH or E-mail: cyprus-slots@dca.mcw.gov.cy

c.Where notification of planned flights is submitted after the respective deadlines such flights can only be confirmed subject to availability.

d.The procedure to a., b. and c. above has no effect on application requirements for authorization of schedule and non-schedule flights by the aviation authority according to the national law. The filing periods for the applications must be strictly observed.

e.Applications shall be submitted to the Airport Coordinator according to national regulations and any other essential instructions that may be published from time to time.

f.As resources are not unlimited, upon arrival priority of ground services will be given to aircraft that maintain their approved slots.

SPECIAL NOTICES

An area bounded by straight lines joining villages Akaki, Kato Dheftera, Tseri, Nisou (north of Yialias river), Yeri, Aglantzia, Lefkosia Town, Akaki is strictly prohibited for civil aircraft.

PASSPORT

Required, except of following persons:

a.Nationals of Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden arriving from or departing to these countries;

b.A group of aliens traveling on a valid collective passport;

c.Holders of a valid refugee identity document;

d.Holders of a valid “Stateless Person” identity document;

e.Holders of an alien resident permit, re-entry permit or laissez-passer issued by a competent authority;

f.Citizens holding a national identity card of one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom;

g.The holder of a seaman’s book presented in connection with documentation for signing on or paying off a ship at a Danish or foreign port;

h.Air crew member licences and certificates issued by a Contracting State of ICAO;

i.Military NATO personnel holding a military identity card and NATO Travel Orders for a stay not exceeding 3 months;

j.Holders of identity documents issued by the Vatican authorities;

k.Holders of valid UN laissez-passer;

l.Holders of laissez-passer document issued by the European Union (EU);

m.American, British or Canadian citizens serving in the NATO forces in Western Europe holding a military identity card and a travel permit for a stay not exceeding 3 months;

n.Holders of a certificate “For Stateless Alien” issued by the American military authorities in Germany for a stay not exceeding 3 months.

o.Pupils participating in school journeys within the European Union (EU) providing they have a lawful residence in an EU state.

VISA

Required, with the following exceptions:

a.Citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda (only BDTC passports), Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, India (only diplomatic and service passports), Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Rep. of Korea, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Pakistan (only diplomatic and service passports), Panama, Paraguay, Philippines (only diplomatic and service passports), Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey (only diplomatic and service passports), USA, Uruguay, the Vatican State, and Venezuela;

b.Holders of a valid British “Common Format Passport”, defining the passport holder as “British Citizen”;

c.Holders of “look alike” British passports who have not stayed outside the United Kingdom for a period of 2 years and who also have one of the following passport endorsements;

“Holder has the right of re-admission”,

“Holder is entitled to re-admission to the United Kingdom”,

“Holder has the right of abode in the United Kingdom”;

d.Holders of valid British passports from the Channel Islands and Isle of Man defining the holder as “British Citizen”;

e.Holders of valid “British Dependent Territories Citizens” (BDTC) passport, issued to persons with the right to reside in Gibraltar, who also have page 5 of the passport endorsed “Holder is defined as a United Kingdom national for Community purposes”;

f.Holders of a valid refugee identity document issued by Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden or the United Kingdom provided the holder is lawfully residing in the state that issued the document;

g.Holders of valid Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Latvian, Norwegian or Swedish alien resident permits being valid for re-admission to the country having issued the document;

h.Holders of travel documents listed under PASSPORT items h) to o);

i.Holders of a valid residence permit in Denmark.

Airport transit visas are required for citizens of the following countries who are transiting a Danish airport, with or without change of aircraft: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia and Sri Lanka.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL

No prior permission is required for overflights and non-commercial landings of aircraft registered in states which are signatories to the Chicago Convention. Application shall reach the DCAA not later than 5 days in advance, not including Saturdays, Sundays and Danish legal holidays and shall include the following information:

a.operator’s name, address, telephone/telefax numbers;

b.aircraft type, nationality and registration marks;

c.intended route and destination of flight and time and place of passage of the Danish FIR boundaries;

d.date and estimated time of arrival at or departure from the aerodromes concerned (in case of landing).

SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

Scheduled commercial air traffic is subject to prior permission unless exempted by European Union (EU) regulations.

Non-EU carriers shall submit applications to the:

Application for the approval of time-table shall be submitted to the DCAA not later than 30 days before the effective date of the time-table. The application shall contain information on number of weekly frequencies, destinations, times of operation, aircraft type, capacity, flight numbers and operator.

Furthermore the application shall contain the following information:

a.operator’s name, address, telephone/telefax numbers;

b.type and registration marks of the aircraft;

c.insurance;

d.nature of the flight;

e.date and time table number;

f.name(s) of the charterer(s);

g.wet-lease;

h.code-share.

EU carriers shall submit notification of their time-tables not later than 15 days before the effective date of the time-table and shall contain same information as shown for application above.

NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHTS

Non-scheduled commercial air traffic (charter flights) is subject to prior permission unless exempted by European Union (EU) regulations.

Operators not exempt shall submit applications to the DCAA (see address in GENERAL before) according to the following lead times (Saturdays, Sundays and Danish holidays not included):

– up to 4 flight within 2 months: 48 hours in advance;

more than 4 flights within 2 months: 30 days in advance.

Applications shall include the following items in the order shown:

a.operator’s name, address, telephone/telefax numbers;

b.aircraft type and registration marks;

c.insurance;

d.name(s), address(s) and telephone/telefax number(s) of charterer(s);

e.date and flight plan number;

f.charter category;

g.wet-lease.

Operators exempt from permission shall submit only a notification to the DCAA according to the above provisions except that items d) and f) may be omitted from the notification.

PRIVATE FLIGHTS

Private flight of aircraft registered in states which are signatories to the Chicago Convention are allowed without prior permission. Private flights of aircraft registered in states that are not parties to the Chicago Convention or non-Danish registered aircraft operated by a Danish resident are subject to prior permission. Applications shall be submitted through diplomatic channels so as to reach the DCAA not later than 5 days in advance, not including Saturdays, Sundays and Danish legal holidays. The application shall include the following information:

a.type, nationality and registration marks of aircraft;

b.name, nationality and address of the owner and the pilot-in-command;

c.intended route and destination of the flight as well as date, time and place of passage of the Danish FIR boundaries;

d.number of persons on board.

STATE OR MILITARY AIRCRAFT FLIGHTS

If exemption has not been granted by special agreement, application has to be submitted through diplomatic channels to the Tactical Air Command Denmark and the DCAA, respectively. The application shall have been received not later than 5 days before the estimated time for passage of the Danish FIR boundaries. Saturdays, Sundays and Danish legal holidays shall not be included in this time-limit. For application details see chapter PRIVATE FLIGHTS above.

CIVIL USE OF MILITARY AIR BASES

Use of military air bases with other than state aircraft may be made solely when prior permission has been obtained. A written application for permission shall be submitted to the air base concerned well in advance of the flight. (Aalborg is not affected by these regulations.)

Karup Air Base Special Regulations:

Permission to use Karup Air Base will be granted unless special conditions may be regarded as prohibitive. Applications on regular use of Karup Air Base shall be submitted to:

INCLUSIVE TOUR CHARTER FLIGHTS

Applications for inclusive tour charter flights should be submitted by the operators or their agents to the Head of Central Administration for Air Transport at least 15 days before operation.

The applications for inclusive tour air services shall include the following information:

a.name, address and nationality of the air carrier;

b.name, address and nationality of the foreign company organizing the flights;

c.name, address and telephone number of the Egyptian agent for air services;

d.name, address and telephone number of the Egyptian tourist agent in addition to the price of the program per person;

e.technical data:

1.aircraft type;

2.capacity;

3.lease price for round trip flight;

4.period of operation;

5.route(s);

6.days of operation;

7.number of flights for each route.

f.timetable of routes including exact timing and point of entry and exit into/from Cairo FIR, especially in the case of landing Aswan and Hurghada airports;

g.tourist program;

h.organization data:

1.number of tourist nights per tourist group;

2.hotel reservations in the different cities and the period of reservation;

3.means of internal transportation.

AIRPORT(S) OF ENTRY

Aircraft shall first land at and finally depart from an international airport.

Primary international airports are: Alexandria (Borg El Arab Intl), Alexandria (Intl), Aswan (Intl), Cairo (Intl), Hurghada (Intl), Luxor (Intl), Marsa Alam (Intl) and Sharm El Sheik (Intl).

Secondary international airports which also require prior approval are: Asyut (Intl), El Arish (Intl), Port Said, Shark El Oweinat (Intl), St Catherine (Intl), Taba (Intl) and Almaza AB.

SPECIAL NOTICES

Egyptian and foreign air carriers operating charter tourist flights are permitted to carry international tourists without restrictions from any foreign city to all civil airports in Egypt except Cairo International Airport. Charter tourist flights are permitted to land at Cairo International Airport only if they are operated from foreign cities not served by Egypt Air.
