3. Operation
3.1 Precaution:
3.1.1 Fuel must be pure and deposited for at least 72 hours before filling. The specifications of diesel oil should be conformed to quality requirements prescribed.
3.1.2 The turbine oil used in transmission and torque converter, and the anti-abrasion hydraulic oil used in hydraulic system must be clean.
3.1.3 Periodically perform maintenance and lubrication as specified.
3.1.4 After engine is started up, keep it run at idle speed until the coolant temperature reaches 55℃ and the barometer reads 0.4Mpa.
3.1.5 Warm the engine with hot water or steam until the temperature of engine reaches 30—40℃ before starting when the ambient temperature is below 5℃.
3.1.6 When shifting from low speed to high speed during travel forward, release throttle pedal in advance, select speed and then depress the throttle. It is not necessary to stop travel or depress the brake pedal. When changing from high speed to low speed during travel forward, it is necessary to slow down in advance so as to make the transmission output shaft run at almost the same speed as that of drive shaft before shifting.
3.1.7 Stop the vehicle before changing the travel direction from forward to reverse or vice versa.
3.1.8 It is not necessary to put the speed selector lever in the neutral position before depressing the brake pedal.
3.1.9 Full load operation is allowed only when the engine coolant temperature is higher than 55℃ and oil temperature is higher than 45℃. The temperature of engine coolant and oil should not exceed 95℃ and the torque converter oil temperature should not exceed 110℃. The vehicle should be stopped for cooling if the coolant/oil temperature exceeds the specified value caused by heavy load operation.
3.1.10 When the operation for lifting and tilting is finished, put the implement valve stem in the middle position.
3.1.11 Never travel when the bucket with load is raised to its highest position. For stable traveling, keep about 400 mm clearance between the lower hitch point of lift arm and the ground.
3.1.12 The power of diesel engine will be decreased with the increase of altitude, ambient temperature and relative humidity. The real power may have to be corrected according to the practical situation. Refer to the engine user’s manual provided with the wheel loader to make corrections, so that the loader can be operated normally.
3.1.13 Air conditioner and heater are optional.
3.1.14 If the hydraulic pipes and components need repairing, please shutoff the engine, then push and pull the control lever forward and backward twice, which you can release the rest pressure in the hydraulic circuit.
